You need the Bachelors to get a work permit. The ONLY way to teach legally without a Bachelors is as a Teacher's Aid/Assistant. Those jobs are rare. There will be some who will tell you there are schools that will hire you without the degree, and if you work there, you stand a chance of being busted, thrown out of the country and blacklisted.

I spent a month in Phuket and will never return. It's an OK place to visit, but to live there? HELL no! And Pattaya? ALSO HELL no. Jomtien is the best place to me. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it.

The link indicated in the latest few posts is one example of a Republican vote rigging. I'm not gonna bother researching the gerrymandering atrocities Republicans (and some Democrats) do, the majority are Republican. The same with changing election laws making it difficult for Democrats to vote. There are numerous Republicans publicly saying "we'd never win another election if voting was fair."

If you meet the requirements, by all means do it yourself. I thought the process would be too difficult, so for my first "retirement" visa, I used an agent. She messed it up which cost me more than 40k baht overall. I then went to the embassy in Bangkok and asked them what the correct process was. They told me, "We don't do that here so go away." I replied, politely but firmly, "I am staying until someone explains the details of the process," which they reluctantly did. t's very simple, and unless you have a physical impairment preventing you (or you have more money than sense), go for it yourself.

I believe you must have missed the part where this guy was gathering Republican votes fraudulently. This merely subtracts votes from the disgraced, treasonous former occupant of the White House.

I don't get it. Are import taxes so high as to restrict importing pork? Is there enough profit in smuggling to make it worth jail time?

45 supporters wrong again! It was led by Democrats AND Republicans and the vast majority of their witnesses were Republican. They took painstaking efforts to document FACTS, a thing that 45 supporters are immune to.

When I first came to Thailand, I had a HUGE library of movies on CD/DVD. I bought me a shiny new DVD player and they wouldn't play due to some damned country code BS. At that point I converted to hard drive format and never went back.
