    I fail to understand the term half-Thai. You are either a Thai national or you are not? Even if they hold dual nationalities they are still Thai and not half-Thai.

    The whole country is blanketed in smoke mid-December. onwards.....the 'mountains' near us totally disappear for months. Had to laugh today.....there is huge 15' high pile of rice grass all ready to burn in our village...........20m from the health clinic.

    Same as above.....had two or three days which were pleasant, one days rain since Oct 15.....otherwise it is not much cooler than the summer months.

    Taken me 16 years.......but unless what they are suggesting is life threatening....... ....put on a studious face, pretend to listen in earnest, nod IN AGREEMENT in a wise and knowledgeable manner..........and hey presto......... life goes on. Afterwards, you can always go into the bathroom and scream f***, f***, f*** into a towel.
