Really .... my brother use to race them back in suburbia Philly, PA, USA. They do that/race them here ? Then he couldn't as got a lung infection from them, after many years. So gave it up. Funny as I never understood has infatuation with them (they used to bet on them), then I picked up wildlife photography (mostly birds) and posted photos of pigeons & doves, and that gave him a chuckle.

About the same, though scratch the 'handyman' stuff. Sunrise & coffee, with same chuckle & trolling AN. Yesterday was dog to park & Makro run, as out of veggies since O&A Made a Japanese Curry the day before Again, yesterday, made tortilla Make Kefir everyday, just strain the grains. Daily walk at the park, before first meal, before noon. Sit on veranda in afternoon, w/dog & pastry, then later afternoon, prep dinner. Lot of photo editing from being O&A Back on internet in between all those 'tasks' (dog, shopping, cooking) ... continue trolling AN ... talk with daughter ... think about next O&A ... did my 90 day online while O&A, as due Tues, already approved ... plan a couple local O&A, <100kms Hit our favorite restaurant at Ban Krut on the way back up from our southern O&A. Need to pop into our favorite the other direction, a bit before Sam Roi Yot Nat. Park Someone posted about a village I haven't been to yet, and gets the weekend Thais there, so might be interesting. Out in Nakhon Nowhere, so maybe a few new birds to photograph. Along a stream, so might even have water, hopefully.

You think ... ... or start a thread to complain about being caught & cited for speeding. Bastards ... May the enforcement continue 👍

Or you could just replace the faulty module. If the car can't keep up with the battery pack & motors, they can be sold/repurposed. Pack for solar systems back up storage. Already being done. How many times does it have to be repeated. What don't you people understand ? I'm starting to think a good portion of the AN members are senile and suffering a bit of, or a lot of Alzheimer's / dementia.

I tried to sell 2 Toyotas and 1 Mazda (ICEVs) to the dealers, and they didn't want them ... what does that say ? And no price was even mentioned, they just didn't want them, and tent people barely offered the insured price, on the Toyotas. Gave the Mazda to the daughter, since not worth selling. And yet, my 1.5 yr old EV, is insured for more that a new one (when on sale), plus 40k baht. And only 1/2% off our purchase price, when not on sale. Not that we would ever sell it, as the battery pack would be worth more added to our solar system, than if sold as a car, 20 yrs down the line.

Yes it is ... better than stressing over things that simply don't affect you. You know the ol' saying ... "give me strength to change the things I can ... and F the rest, as not worth the brain cells" DISCLAIMER: that might not be entirely accurate quote -

Actually it does. Nissan Leaf being a fine example of a POS, hopefully corrected over the years. The Toyota, major recall, as couldn't keep the tire on. Leaf, way overpriced in TH, and only an idiot would buy, besides their horrendous track record if doing minimal research. The Toyota, just arrived or will in TH, AND hopefully they tweak out the issues, although it's also overpriced. Charging network, confirmed by EV owners, it's excellent an inexpensive in TH. Weekenders might hit a Q, though I haven't had that experience yet, just returning from driving 2 Sundays, and a Saturday & Friday, south of us. Typical app & options issues, as all cars seem to have when newly released, and most fixed OTA. No major drivetrain issues reported yet, from AN members, and we seem to own a variety of EVs from CH manufacturers. Some driver assist options can be annoying, especially in TH, as dependent on properly painted roadway, but can be disabled, as I did in our ZS. Probably would no matter how good it worked, as thought it was just annoying the way implemented, little nudges on the steering wheel, while it makes adjustments. Can't think of any other annoyance members have reported, though I'm sure you read them all also. One design flaw with BYD, the battery pack encased in plastic, and possible vulnerable to road hazards, causing a hole/breach that water/moisture may enter. After market fix is available for that. All ears, what you got that I didn't mention, appropriate to TH, and EVs on the market here.

I'm speechless ... ... I really can't think of anything to say, that wouldn't be offensive. Thanks for the chuckle though ... HAVE A GOOD ONE
