  1. Not sure how they are going to accomplish that, and makes the guardrail & fencing they're installing a bit silly, as thought to help protect spectators if an oops. Was going to pop down for some photo snapping, but got more than a few when they made their YT promo vid.
  2. I assume you lived in both, to be able to make that comparison.
  3. Don't blame it on the Thais, as it's your country-folk's fault. All the irresponsible tourist having oops then skipping out on hospital bills in the past.
  4. Or, their symptoms aren't much more than common cold, flu bug, and won't even bother with a test, IF, they have any symptoms at all. Many people don't live in fear. Well, aside from fear of hospital incarceration.
  5. This is why many alkys have that 'beer belly' .... Vodka and weight loss Alcohol, including vodka, interferes with our body’s fat burning process. Normally, our liver metabolizes (breaks down) fats. When alcohol is present, however, your liver prefers to break it down first. Fat metabolism comes to a screeching halt while your body uses the alcohol for energy. This is referred to as “fat sparing,” and it isn’t good for someone trying to lose weight. While a single shot of vodka may not seem like a huge deal at under 100 calories, most of us don’t just stop at one drink. Consuming just 3 vodka drinks adds 300 calories to your intake for the day. That’s about the same as a McDonald’s cheeseburger. Alcohol also makes us lose our inhibitions, messes with our hormones (adrenaline and cortisol), and increases our cravings for high-fat, high-carb foods. This makes it even harder to say no to a late-night trip to Taco Bell. Vodka may be a good choice relative to other types of alcohol like beer or sugary cocktails, but if you’re watching your weight, you should treat vodka like you would a piece of a cake or a cookie and save it for a special occasion.
  6. From Bang Su, or any station on the northern line, which does pass by Don Muang. So UP2U where to hop on.
  7. Hoping for a 20 meter rise myself, then we'll be beachfront
  8. And 10s of thousands more possible variants out there to keep the money flowing in.
  9. Depends what your end game is. I would get the -0- visa first, before the bank account. Why bother if your not going to be able to stay in country.
  10. Xiaomi / POCO fan myself, since inexpensive. To me, it's a camera / GPS, with access to internet, that makes phone calls, on that rare occasion. Wouldn't bother with Samsung or Nokia. If wanting best camera, Google Pixel 6 Pro
  11. Always put mouse over sender to see the address of. Then right to trash / deleted.
  12. Soi dogs only .... ???? Post critique ... disappointed. Any 'green' area will do, and a welcome change for Krung Thep. Just hope it's maintained and has plenty of bins for trash.
  13. "intention is" ??? Take your pet to vet already.
  14. Just sell the meat at a discount. Not like it's going to hurt you if cooked properly. 160+F kills the swine flu. No different than all the other c r a p in your store bought meats. So much for rare, medium or medium rare pork steak, as if they ever ask .... medium well please. Most meats except beef (if asked) is over cooked here anyway.
  15. Millions ? Yes, read same yesterday, tested (400 +/-) ?? many farms, slaughter houses & pigs, and only found 1 pig infected. And that was a backtrack of infected pork found at a slaughter house. Agree with other post, just more control, and big business pushing out the small pig farmers. Just as covid has done for everything else.
  16. "and the hospital phones and tells you to quarantine for 14 days, is is mandatory?" Depends if self-quarantine. If not ... Good time for a road trip. Pick your own hotel to 'quarantine' at.
  17. Edited it a few times, you must have been in between the edits ... ???? Sh!t happens. I seem to do that a lot.
  18. Unless very small areas, just scrape off all the loose as best you can, and redo the whole ceiling. The thicker the roller is, the more forgiving it is of surface imperfections.
  19. While searching for something to do, an outing, came across this place. May interest. Can use theirs, or bring your own, I think, If not, just pitch down a ways, but food in the area. http://tiny.cc/3genuz Also closer to HH, SRY, and small park area surfside we went to. Let me in for the Thai price, using Pink Thai ID / yellow book. Small restaurant there, beach is not really swimmable, or wasn't when we were there. http://tiny.cc/jgenuz
  20. If memory serves, there's a sticker on the cartridge that comes off, and a 'stopper' which you can insert the needle to refill. Make sure you get the proper ink for HP. At least 2 different flavors (used to be, maybe 3), and not interchangeble with some manufacturers.
  21. thanks for your helpful input Some folks haven't got a clue where to start. Might be a tourist for all I know, and if so, not much in tourist areas, according to Gmap, and understandable, since shy on tourist for awhile. He / she might of thought about a recommendations for chain stores or something (not good idea), not knowing there's helmet shops all over Thailand.
