  1. Just looked at vid (posted by ignored member), and aside from very fast moving vehicle, not much I can say that wouldn't offend more than a few. Will add, maybe the headlines of the first vehicle he obviously noticed in his drunken state, blinded him from seeing the other approaching in the far lane at speed. R I P One of the reasons I hate driving at night on the highway. Really need to pay attention, and very easy to overdrive your headlights. Though that area was well lit by streetlights.
  2. Anywhere works with me, as long as it's not in the main business/congested districts. Now, I would avoid living anywhere, Hua Hin or above, due to 4 to 6 months of air pollution. Houses built in very rural areas, but 5 to 20 minutes away from whatever is needed or wanted. Fresh air most of the year, go South. Swimmable beaches half the year, Andaman Sea side, but choose wisely. Gulf is nice to look at, but that's about it, with few exceptions. Nightlife is everywhere, just depends how prejudice you are if you'll enjoy the shared company at said venues.
  3. I remember that, and quite good. Have to hang in there till the end, as it all comes together. Patience ... the pay off is worth it. It's on 1337x / 2 links from YIFY
  4. And foreigners alike ... ???? 100kg or so on any front end or windshield dead center is going to cause quite a bit of damage, if cruising 60-90 kph. Surely driver wasn't expecting someone to be in his path at 10pm in the evening. Obviously took his eyes off the road for a bit longer than he should have. Driven that road many times, and it's 2-4-6 lanes in some spots, since a major through way. Some areas even have 2 lanes of 'frontage' rd + 6 lanes for thru traffic. 6 lane divided highway as it passes thru the Khao Khak beach area.
  5. Do the tourist visa until they won't. Teaching is always an option.
  6. Oh my ... you're not implying the UK has just as much corruption as TH ???? Say it's not so, it simply can't be ... ???? God save the Queen ... oops, I mean King

  8. Lovely drive, as have done a few times. More waterfalls, better along the way. Gmap will fill you in on all you need to know. Been a while since I've driven it, as twice was enough for present wife. Better, current info on Gmap.

  18. Might have the same wheelbase as the H250s @ 136/142cm, why I used the dimension photo. Just another option most don't think of. Range sucks, but great for around town, and looks nice-ish
  19. I can't even blame that on auto correct ... ????
  20. DECO MaxOne Range & top end ???????? Price & operating cost ???????? ... non removable battery https://decogreenenergy.com/index.php/en/product-en/electric-motorcycles-en/maxone
  21. It depends on the type car and charger. MG ZS EV ... ~45 mins
  22. We have no problem getting around urban areas & parking:
  23. Perfect car for us. More than enough room for all the krap we take with us when O&A. Since one of the shortest SUVs, great getting around urban area, and parking no harder to find a spot than driving our Mazda2 sedan, as the same size, lengthwise, surprisingly. Roomier inside, as wider & taller. Comfy on the highway. Bought late Sept 2020, and we racked up a few kms in 2020: During covid, it was great, no tourist, little traffic. Same for 2021, O&A quite a bit: This year, been hanging around locally, finishing up a house built. Don't drive the car much locally, unless shopping at Makro or rainy. Use the E-motorcycle around town. 20k the first 6 months 10k the following 12 months 5k the past 6 months Wow, I guess I don't sit behind the keyboard all day for fun ... sorry fellas ... ????
