  1. Ditto. Got a stash here, that will last forever. I smoke about 1/2 gr a month, if that, and only if I think it may help me enjoy a movie. Most are nothing but time killers, so it doesn't help much. Gone are the days of looking forward to, or need to, smoke a doobie. No stress, and no need to escape reality for a while. A happy content person is a terrible customer for stimulant (alcohol & weed) suppliers. Rarely do I think of either, or indulge.
  2. Didn't even notice. Wonder if it was a statement, or the dogs just like colorful flags
  3. Everything in TH is office location dependent. Doesn't necessary mean province or amphur. 2 different DL renewal rules at 2 different offices in PKK province. That was really strange. So I would never try to prove anyone wrong. Just give my actual experiences People have told me, what 'I have done', was impossible to do, and yet ... go figure.
  4. Yea, the left has selective memories ... Obama's immigration policy of kids in cages, separated from family. https://www.businessinsider.com/migrant-children-in-cages-2014-photos-explained-2018-5
  5. On the rare occasion I do, I use heavy cream if making a Cappuccino. 99.9% of the time, it's simply black coffee in the morning.
  6. Amazing docs don't keep up with current info, and realize the farce of info they were fed in the past. Hard to take the dietary advice from someone who is obviously way overweight. The past couple years, I've eaten the opposite of the food pyramid BS that is outdated ... IMHO and feel much better, have better control of my body, and blood work numbers agree with me.
  7. Now that's the kind of protest the USA needs to make things 'right' again. May it become a nation wide movement
  8. Probably realizing tariffs might, probably would cause a bit of inflation, but also realized, it certainly wouldn't be any worse if Harris won. As last 4 years was 20+%, average of 5+% a year. His other policies, that he's actually doing, will help offset the pain. If all goes as theorized, over the next 12 years, then maybe some manufacturing will return, and the economy will be productive with new jobs & better salaries.
  9. What's his age ? If 50, then 0 non immigrant for retirement should be easy enough. If younger, then 'support of Thai national'. I had the latter after a divorce and not yet 50 yrs old, couple decades ago 🙄
  10. 170k for a 250cc ... No I could deal with this though. A better value, and probably cost less. Might want to wait, and see what the price for the FELO TOOZ will be. Impressive specs: 200 kph / 725 kms range. Also electric ...
  11. How many would eat meat, if they had to kill it, and butcher it themselves ? I think I'd only eat seafood. I've butcher deer (brother shot) and beef quarters, but I doubt if I could kill them, or even chicken / birds. Of course I'd have no problem eating these boneless & skinless chickens ...
  12. Underage son, the inheritance would be put in to a trust, till adult age. He may want to consult a lawyer for that, along it he is allowed to manage the trust, since a non Thai. His first stop after the funeral should be a lawyer.
  13. What is a 'mutual' underage son ? If her birth son, the son & spouse would be the higher 'class' of inheritance. So 100% goes to them. Not sure where the non Thai spouse fits in, but spouse & son get all. If not spouse or son, then gets divided to parents & siblings.
  14. We was campaigning for well over 1 year, and cutting budget / foreign aid & immigration was pretty much his top priorities, along with trade balance / tariffs Yakked about wasting money during the campaign. So not seeing the surprise. No other care for her in the whole province ? More like a Thai health care for refugee issue, not a USA issue or cause. Pretty obvious it was completely irrelevant in this woman's death ... IMHO. If from Myanmar, she was already 5 past her life expectancy for being born 1954.

  16. "Pe Kha Lau, a 71-year-old refugee with chronic lung issues, succumbed to her condition just days after being discharged from the healthcare facility." "Pe Kha Lau, 71, died on Sunday after becoming short of breath four days after she was sent home from a healthcare facility " Died Sunday, Feb 2 Released Jan 30 (TH time) 29th (USA time) Executive order signed Jan 28 (USA time) so Jan 29th, TH time. Did the clinic even get notified USAID funding would be halted, before she died, or clinic supposedly closed ? USA isn't exactly the most efficient gov't. But it's Trumps fault What next, MB accidents or the smog season ?
  17. One can only hope, or better, even higher
  18. How about TH taking care of their own. Where's all the relocation money, tourist are charged to visit the interment camps ? RU & CN aren't dumb enough to borrow money to give away.
  19. Thank You President Trump Boo Hoo ... I've been laid off and made redundant from a few employers. Welcome to reality. If true, you overstayed your overpaid welcome already. Have a nice day ... on your paid leave, which I never got.
  20. Haven't received mine, as checked the PO Box yesterday. Although it should actually come to the house, since notified a couple times with address change past 2 yearly pulse checks.
  21. Excellent example of ... 'EVs aren't for everyone' 👍
  22. Pretty much depends how often you travel over 250-300 kms a day, or more, with some of the newer models. When O&A, we personally don't want to be on the road more than 3+ hrs, and would stop for quite a bit, no matter what type vehicle we drove. The extra convenience and savings 10 months of the year, certainly offsets any minor (actually almost none) inconveniences when away from home charging while O&A for about 2 months of the year.
  23. Possibly even healthier & diarrhea free. I've never had an issue, and eat our fair share when O&A. Citrus acid is a preservative, (probably the most used) something your body needs anyway. Surely 7-11 meals don't have that much more, if at all, sugar, salt or MSG than your local fresh cooked meals. Ready to eat meals have a very short shelf life, no more than leftovers in your frig, or better, they're frozen. I edited above if you didn't see yet.
