  1. You mean 2011 ???? "The first all-new MG-branded model for 16 years, the MG 6, was officially launched on 26 June 2011" The rest as they say ... is history.
  2. Phuket was the first thing that came to mind, but not really a city. Assuming OP is staying in and around the immediate area of the city. Yes, Udon is boring a all hell, landscape wise, unless heading out to the hills or edge of plateau. As is the whole NE almost, and one reason I left. Udon has some fine eating areas, along with some parks and an OK mall. Plenty of nightlife (non P4P).
  3. But they are still having kids they can't afford, and living beyond their means. Too much borrowed credit for depreciating purchases. Pointed out by the $100k+ bracket, and still struggling. How is that even possible?
  4. If never been there before, would be easy to do in Udon Thani, and wouldn't really need a car. Krung Thep, more than enough to keep anyone interested. Added plus of public trans. Assuming one won't be cooking meals at home, though saying that, I could literally live off 7-11 & near by vendors, as there always seems to be. Wouldn't be my preference though, so a good food town would be required. Metro area better, more options, less need to self entertain.
  5. I guess I could of added, same coffee/water ratio "1 to 10, as the moka pot".
  6. August 2023 Only take away, is using about 2X from previous year, since being first month having the system and being very conservative. No need to be, as realize system provides more than enough for house & EV H/L day ... produced/consumed H -38kWh/36.3kWh L - 9.5kWj/9.3kWh (day trip to Hua Hin)
  7. Unloading ... ???? 'OK, mag is out, now how to get that round out that shouldn't be chambered ?' 2 ways ... choose wisely .... oops
  8. Visited shy of 20 years ago, it was a bit much then. Then last time, probably 15 yrs ago, and seriously, can't imagine how bad it is now. Patts is the kind of place you pick to live, only if you can walk to everything you need, which should actually be possible, IF, you chose the right part of town to live in. Then all you need to do is deal with the weekenders, which would be a good time to sit & sip poolside. Good Luck. Highs season is only couple months away.
  9. That's one reason I don't live there, too congested to begin with, whether doing road work or not. Life is about choices. You make them, you live with them. Don't cry after the fact ENJOY Got to read something while sipping my morning cup. Nakhon Nowhere doesn't have those problem, that's why I live here. No complaining from me ????
  10. Thanks for posting. Kind of counters all the silly replies. And pretty much what I got from the song. Hates the way politicians, here & worldwide and screwing things up for most while they themselves benefit. Don't know how people heard right or left wing, or rebels, statues & Confederate, and see no mention in the lyrics I posted. N. of Richmond = Wash DC - all politicians ???? Mindboggling how people think and spin something not even there, to fit their mindset.
  11. Good thing it's not the only road in Patts ???? Geez, complain about the road ... it needs fixing. Complain when they are fixing it. Can't wait till y'all find something wrong with it after it's fixed. Nothing like being happy in one's misery, or is it the misery that makes you happy.
  12. KhunLA replied to tanner's topic in Pattaya
Lucky her, as I'm thinking she's far better off without you. Replacing you should be easy & pleasurable. Nothing says I love you, like 'one day at Imm is too much'. Enjoy the crappy weather.
  13. Yes, and easy enough to control the heat, on gas anyway. Definitely stop the first hint of spurting, or it will be bitter. Used the French Press this morning, about the same coffee / water ratio, 8 minute steep, Think I might stick with that for now.
  14. From another thread, and Cafe Roma, what we use now. Haven't seen in stores, bought from bakery supply shop, until we found online. Back to using Moka Pat, and about 35 gr of coffee/350ml water, standard 1 to 10 ratio for Moka pot, and yields 300ml. Tastes same as my drip, using 50gr/300ml, for 200ml yield. Might break out the French Press for comparison.
  15. I'm having one done myself, actually 2nd visit tomorrow, and quoted 8k total, though suspect a bit more. Then a veneer for 4k. Single root incisor. Had molar done before 2, maybe 3 root, as remember taking longer than I thought, maybe 3 rooted, and too long ago, forget the price. But guessing 10k range, but was long time ago, 14 ish yrs..
  16. Yea, I'm counting about 20 between the army base/palace & Khao Takiab on PlugShare All are not fast chargers, as I know the 'free' one at the restaurant is not. But if you can't find a CS in TH, you're not looking very hard.
  17. Another 'what if' scenario, and we'll all be long gone before EVs hit 50%. You could probably just take the high speed monorail, instead of driving and be there in 2 hrs. You know ... what if ... ????
  18. Agree @rocketboy painting has got to be one of, if not the easier things to do. especially if not cracked or peeling. No rec as not located in Patts.
  19. To the title ... don't consciously have or want. Hate schedules and never make definite plans. Saying that, when home, I enjoy my daily coffee/reading 'routine', and know I'll be walking the dog between 10-12am at the park when home. The rest of my day, life is open for suggestions.
  20. Or ... realizing they/MG offer 4 of the best BEV options in TH, at thrifty price point, with decent EV production track record. Along with their own established CS network ????
  21. Now you can have a 'mid life' crisis. Was one of my thoughts when hitting 50, almost 19 yrs ago. Thinking that was never going to happen when younger, so why not shoot of 100. Just keep moving forward, new hobby, new sights, new things to do, perfecting & enjoying what you already know & do. Too much time on your hands, start cooking at home. That new hobby, eat healthier, cheaper, and might even make it to 100. For comic relief, read the daily doom & gloom news, and the sad sots on AN complaining everyday, about everything, realizing that they are miserable and that they are still alive.
