    I wasn’t trying to imply to you anything personally because I wasn’t there so I don’t know, just trying to sight self awareness, small things do matter. I’ve noticed some foreigners that have been here in cm for quite some time and still don’t get it.

    Your complaints may have gotten you booted. Other possibilities…some Thais are turned off by show-offs/desperate to be noticed, hairy unshaven and other minor things like being loud in a quiet setting, moving/pointing at objects with the feet may be taken offensively. Being appreciative and respectful of the hosts hospitality no matter what the conditions are, will definitely go a long way in these parts.

    What deal? The only deal that I can deduce is that, I’m in a SE Asian country and I must abide by the laws and including it’s variables. I’d like to witness a foreigner get fussy and struggle with an IO over a variable as I’ve seen before in the office to no avail.

    Are those Thai credit cards? If not then the problem is with the out of country banks. Use your Thai bank app or Thai credit card or cram ฿ in an orange box.

    I do it in a few seconds loafing at home using the ais app that ties to the bank app. If problems occur with payments on anything, which is rare, then it’s most likely an error of yours truly

    Maybe have a Thai friend call on your phone and ask to text payment code/ bank number?

    If you’re in cm or the north then if you don’t have a car then rent a car (easiest) and drive to chiang khan, park and walk to the border exit and hop on the bus to the Lao side. If you want to do a quick turnaround then be sure to let the Lao IO, then you’ll be on the next bus to chiang khan

    Ever consider closing the windows and turning on the ac & or fan??? This trick worked good for me ????

    I lived in a new apartment in what was then a quiet convenient area in cm, then came the restaurants and the street got busy, and earplugs at night, then I moved mostly because of the loud fart cans on the motorcycles wizzing by the building.

    Yes, all the time. Phone speakers don’t produce boombox sound levels. can barely hear family members in the next room playing YouTube. Hearing the music of security guards outside playing music on their phones? 5! Give me a break, unless you have super hearing

    I personally wouldn’t take a bus or use a a visa agent for a border run, rent a car for ~1000฿ per day from cm to chiang khan and enjoy life ????

    Just to be sure, some of the Samsung models have the filters fitted in the hatch/door. I do my business at Chiang Mai air care engineering on the 118 just pass central festival on the left. Not sure if they supply Samsung products.

    Definitely an immigration status/visa issue. I dated an immigrant from a neighboring country and she needed permission to leave cm provenance whenever we took a trip. We had to travel to her amphur to get a 24 hour advance permission. Its assumed you’re here on a visa behalf of your child. I dated a Chinese national under the same circumstances, she didn’t want to deal with getting permission.
