  1. A bit late reply but I believe that my uncle could do the operation since he’s a surgeon. go to surapol clinic at the South Pattaya road about 100m from sukhumvit rd. สุรพล คลินิกศัลยกรรม เสริมหน้าอก เสริมจมูก ทำตา ดึงหน้า เสริมคาง พัทยาใต้ 081 975 6719 https://goo.gl/maps/zpx4RFqkadGj6ajBA
  2. Is the new Jim’s burger on pattaya sai 3 good?
  3. I’m interested! Do you have a list of your books? or are you planning to sell the whole batch away?
  4. In Pattaya we still have them around though. I found 5mg orfarin in my neighborhood. Maybe try other place?
  5. Worked in a pharmacy and had never be able to find one for my customers.
  6. I don't know if you already discussed this with you doctor, but warfarin has an antidote (vitamin K) but Xarelto (or any other newer anticoagulant) doesn't have one. This mean if the incident like this happens the hospital could have given you vitamin k to counteract warfarin and thus stop the bleeding more effectively. You have to weight out whether it is the right one for you. To regularly monitor INR and be more careful about your diet vs Risk of bleeding to death vs risk of blood clot.
  7. Can you post the Thai leaflet instruction that you have? It does sound weird, having 2 options. Probably 2-steps process miscommunicated?
  8. The advantages of Xarelto over warfarin has never been less incidence of loss of blood, the main advantage is that you dont have to worry much about food-drug or drug-drug interaction. ANY anticoagulant will give you increased risk of blood loss and the gastrointestinal bleeding is the less obvious one. You are lucky and I am sorry that you are not informed thoroughly about the possible side effects when first prescribed. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Jett fitness perhaps? There is one at Little Walk on Sukhumvit road and the other at royal garden plaza. Definitely not a simple gym but you can watch youtube on their running machine screen.
  10. My parents have been vegetarian since 1999. We are local Thai family. I remembered going to 5-star J once or twice. Mostly when we eat out we usually rotate between MK, Sizzler, Yes Vegan, and Panpan. I know that these are not all vegan restaurant but with enough customization we can make do.
  11. Try Dymista it's the combination of corticosteroid and antihistamine nasal spray I used to use Avamys and barely got my allergy undercontrolled. Now I only use dymista every few days Fascino should have it
  12. My uncle is a surgeon (about 30 years experience). Let's him have a look. Here is the place https://g.page/surapolclinic8?share (yes, it meant to be the breast augmentation clinic at first) and the facebook (20+) ริดสีดวง สุรพลคลินิกพัทยาใต้ | Facebook Most of his patients are Thais though and his English might not be very well. I could be there if you need someone to translate. Here's his wife's number 081-975-6719 (she is the one who make appointment for patients)
  13. Hey, I looked up Thai FDA website. The generic brands of Xarelto that have been registered are Rivarox, Noblexa and Rivoxan. Doesn't mean that they would be available in any pharmacy though. Sometimes the company just registered the meds and never really sell them. But I do see Rivarox in some hospitals though. So ask around for these brand might save you more or less
  14. I've been working as a community pharmacist for 5 years There is quality control although the information is not really easy to access to. The only time that I have received the information about quality control is when the med rep came to talk with us. And I know they tend to be biased toward their company but alas, there is no such a thing as third party organization to check in Thailand. Although some company like MEGA or Berlin (the ones that I know of) do acquired some international manufacturing standard that I cannot recall (lol sorry). They do recall the product when found correlation with major side effect though. There were 3-4 incidences where I have to recall meds in the past five years that I've been in the field. About bribery - I'd say it's above my pay grade to say anything
  15. As a Thai my advice is that look around a large hospital near you (the ones with med school of their own). As these pharmacies tend to position themselves as retailer priced as wholesaler. If you live in Bangkok then Diamond pharmacy (https://goo.gl/maps/Le5j2fQUeyDwE5D86) is the first to come to my mind when I'm thinking of buying inexpensive meds for my grandma. Although, I do not think these pharmacies have very well English spoken assistants. The other pharmacy that I saw my mom ordered from is Chula Bhesaj จุฬาเภสัช (Chula Bhesaj Drug Store) - Bang Rak, Bangkok (foursquare.com). I haven't order from this shop personally but know that they have wide selection with very competitive price. You can try fascino. They have fairly large selection of drugs at higher price (depends on where it's located, tend to be more expensive around tourists crowded area) , the largest branches are the big three that they called drug center, Fascino Siriraj, Fascino North Pattaya, Fascino Chiangmai. Don't forget to research which brand would you really want as the prices varied tremendously. For example, Lipitor (the original atorvastatin) could be up to 3,000 a box. While, Xarator (the second brand also from pfizer) is about 40% less expensive. Or you can opt for Thai brand and get them for even less than that.
