I got great curb side service here, Ubon Rachathani, by husband and wife. First time the husband cut and "burn fused" hiking hat adjustment strings to perfect length. "No pay money" he said when I asked how much. I gave 10b, he smiled happy. Today I puller off my hiking skirt and asked to shorten arms 5cm while I wait. "No problem" she said. She did fast good job. Asked "30 b okey?" I said Yes!. We all were happy. A small thing but makes me happy to be in Thailand! This is service 🙂

I googled and found they say; IF you got "Office 365" .rtf app is included. I do have that. I don't think I ever use it. When I click old .rtf page menu "what to use" shows up but there is non Office 365 listed. How do I get it there?

Ubon "Yuu Art Show 2024" was great! Great street food too. Anything from cheap chicken to expensive lobster tail. Nice to see so many young people doing arts and very well in Ubon. Yuu Cafe was absolutely packed. FREE entry, Band members were so young. Played 70% of US classic rock. Tonight more the same 🙂 I stopped looking dirty street and run down properties and focusing nice things. There's plenty to like and people are SO nice! I may stay here for an other week. 550B a day 4 two with made-to-order breakfast and bowl of rice soup is bonus.

Just been to UR Immi and I must say "The Best"! No need to go to Laos since 30 days is enough for me. So friendly, polite, fast and no waiting for 30-day extension. I had Isaan gf with me and that added to smooth process but I've no doubt they are nice to all farangs. After years of Jomtien "services" I thought I'd gone to heaven... but I'm alive. PS. After clean and modern airport things went down a bit. Not much to see and not too clean streets etc. Hotels are cheap but street food not to Jomtien level in quality. Still OK. Temple markets are huge and great. Fresh fruits are great and low prices. Last but not least; Isaan gals are super nice! Very interested in getting to know old farangs like me. PS.
