It's not the money (and it was only $ 1,16) but the sneaky tactic to sell 40THB CAR PARKING ticket when a farang, me, walked in... But I know there are plenty of poor souls no other place to go. Better not to make waves. One day I may join you if Putin takes over EU.

You better stay where you get help, like these; https://www.yahoo.com/news/pictured-drunken-tourists-put-cart-170000079.html

After talking to my gf what they charged was not right! Entry fee is 10 THB per person - same for Thai and farang. .............................................. King Rama IX Park – Bangkok’s largest park Admission: 10 Baht .............................................. BUT they also forced her to buy 40 THB PARKING ticket... We walked in, no car. 60 THB total. Not nice! I'd have raised hell if I'd known then. It was "farang fee", I guess. She was quiet about it. I only saw 4 farangs during 4 h stay. All had That partner. I guess they don't like us. I noticed all other Bangkok parks are free entry to all. Only this isn't.

I found this very beautiful park and spent 4 happy hours yesterday. It was too short time so I'll go back one day. It's a huge park and NO Trash! The cleanest place in Bangkok. Tickets 20 B locals, 50 farang. I don't like double pricing but in this case I don't mind paying 'cause it's so nice place. "Suan Luang Rama IX (Thai: สวนหลวง ร.9, pronounced [sǔan lǔaŋ rɔ̄ː kâːw], RTGS: Suan Luang Ro Kao), also referred to as (King) Rama IX Park, is a public park in Bangkok's Prawet District. With an area of 500 rai (80 ha; 200 acres), it is the largest park in the city." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suan_Luang_Rama_IX https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=suan+luang+park+bangkok

Google map says "Pier 21". If it matters. I'll try. BKK court is no good. Low quality.

It's also important to speak American English! It's better. Yankees know how to cut through BS and get to the point without many unnecessary words. Neither they doubt what they say in same sentence! Like "We should go to swim, shouldn't we? And so on. Why backing off? Or need others help to decide a simple task? I don't get it.

Do you muffdive too?

Thank you very much! Mask is mandatory. No problem, I got many.

I was looking for this kind of easy trip. No need to leave the van: "Arrived at the Cambodia border (Ban Pakkad) at 09:54. Departed Thailand at border control, then handed passport to the driver. In the meantime, we waited at passport control until the driver arrived back with our passports, which now had the necessary Cambodia visa inside and entry and exit stamps in and out of Cambodia. All we were required to do now was to re-enter Thailand." I don't list the company 'cause don't no if allowed?

Right on! https://www.yahoo.com/news/mexican-president-harsh-takedown-trump-110000526.html "It’s darkly amusing that Sheinbaum would cite U.S. statistics to make this point, because Trump does not allow that the reality depicted by our own data even exists. During the fall campaign, Trump endlessly repeated the lie that our “open” border is getting obliterated by a world-historical invasion, even as apprehensions plummeted and matched levels sometimes seen during Trump’s presidency. The latest numbers show that in November, apprehensions hit a new low under Biden and sank lower than some months under Trump."

Trump vows massive taxes on goods from Mexico, Canada and China
GypsyT replied to jerrymahoney's topic in Political Soapbox
Here we go again.... Donny boy never learns. "Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum threatened to retaliate with her own tariffs against the United States, after President-elect Trump suggested he would impose a 25 percent tax on imported goods from Mexico if her country did not stop the flow of drugs across the border. In remarks on Tuesday, Sheinbaum said that drugs were a U.S. problem, not a Mexican problem, and suggested they could harm U.S. automakers with plants on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. “One tariff would be followed by another in response, and so on until we put at risk common businesses,” Sheinbaum said."
