Overstaying by hours
GypsyT replied to MindfulPresence's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
4 years ago I got fine thinking it's "a month", not 30 days. No big deal to pay and learn. I wonder if destination was OP's problem? FUK...... -
This started a week ago. Mostly on this site. I cleaned cookies etc according Google search tips. No help. Not a real big deal, mostly curious and trying to learn more.

Titanium is the strongest and best to humid Thailand: What is the disadvantage of zirconia implants? All of these characteristics make Zirconia highly desirable for many patients. However, as we have said earlier, this option is not meant for everyone. The most significant disadvantage of Zirconia dental implants is that the material does not do well in low-temperature or humid environments.Nov 9, 2020 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Which is better titanium or zirconium implants? Titanium is stronger and more durable than zirconia, but zirconia implants are more biocompatible with the human body. Titanium implants have a success rate of up to 95%, while zirconia is less than that.Mar 30, 2022 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I went for Titanium.

That's about the same as in EU's best places. $ 1349 / 1205 euros. It's OK when work is good. I sure will check with them. Thank you!

In '80s I had two-tone White face SS & gold Rolex Daytona. Paid $ 6400 for it. Used 4 years. Sold for $ 9200. To me best looking watch. Paul Newman got one after winning Daytona 24h race and then started to advertice it for Rolex. Great value and investement! However, never liked how heavy and thick it was... That facebook link to store shows one like mine. Price 689 000THB / 20 542 USD.

Any good company to exterminate Small Cockroaches appearing every 2 days
GypsyT replied to DCXMX's topic in General Topics
This is the best, if you can get it. Some countries have outlawed it (too effective?). Made in Germany. I use it for ants. 100% result so far in every spring. They have dealer in Hong Kong. NEUDORFF Spinosad According to one embodiment, for example, products containing only from 0.5% to 2% Spinosad and unrefined animal fat may achieve greater than 90% mortality against German cockroaches within 14 days, measured in the mixed population, and males are completely eliminated within 7 days. -
Yes there is; Take bath bus toward to the beach. At 2nd road switch to Jomtien one. Jump off at Pratumnak intersection and walk to your hotel. I got that from here; https://www.pattayaunlimited.com/getting-around-pattaya/

I'm receiving text from US to EU without Int credit. I only have $3/mo and it works fine. I don't have WiFi activated neither. I never tried calls. I never tried text or calls from Thailand but don't see why it would not work as well.

That Pinnacle looks great for 1440THB/nite w breakfast! VT3 is quiet too and the small beach is never crowded. Close to Russian market for expensive fattening European food. They also had barbecued crocodile! Last year they had only one Thai restaurant which always seems to be empty. Maybe that's the reason food prices were low. Quality was great.

I've used Ultra $3/mo deal for 3 years. Only problem: SSA and my Banks don't accept it 😞 The reason; my name is not registered anywhere to that number... and that's what I like.

I think you nailed it! Look how many "Water supply" dams Thailand have - 312. More than others combined. https://www.stimson.org/2024/all-dams-map-of-the-mekong-basin/

My friend has rubber tree plantation. She said trees can be up to 40 meters / 131 ft tall and they live up to 50 years old. Is that profitable business / investment? Google doesn't know... She lives close to small mountains. She said, when child, they had many small rivers with fish but now all are dried up. Ground water is deeper too.

Selling everything in the USA and leaving

Just give it now; Is California property tax exemption parent to child? "Effective February 16, 2021 Proposition 19 limits property tax increases on family homes used as a primary residence by allowing parents to pass on their family home to their children for continued use as a primary residence." -
I've been around Isaan many times but never to that city. I like green fields, parks, rivers, lakes and mountains. Is there any of that? No need for night life or farang stuff. Otherwise, weatherspark, com show quite nice weather, not as hot as most places in Isaan. The border crossing is a big plus too. Why am I asking? Woman... of course.

How do you deal with bank of America in Thailand?
GypsyT replied to renegade2000's topic in US & Canada Topics and Events
ALL US banks are in stone age.... Good luck cashing your check in the EU. You should have used trusted US friend to take all out with your debit card at ATM and then wire it to you. Or used his/her credit card to buy something to you for same amount. -
Cambodia Visa for Short Term Tourist
GypsyT replied to Danderman123's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
I'm not very smart so can you tell me how to scan passport? Can I first scan to my PC and use the pic? Also, somebody said "Not valid on land border" but menu shows "Bus ticket" so it should be OK? Do they really need in/out airline or bus ticket? How about hotel reservation? They ask that too. I'm getting ready for first trip to Cambodia. Thank you!
