If possible take all papers and proof and walk to Immi and get paper copy of TM30. I always do this. 2nd reason I do this; I have noticed with paper copy on my passport they don't care if I've been in many different addresses which were reported, or not reported, to Immi when I go to get 30 day extensions. Thailand is 3rd world country in net anything...

I'm checking flight to my other favorite place, Gran Canaria, Spain. Pollution is only 21. https://www.iqair.com/gb/spain/canarias/las-palmas-de-gran-canaria

Nice views but I need to be right on the beach, like VT7 end unit, to see chicks nipples....
-
You may don't like this but my advice is return to your home country. When/if you can't take care of all things by yourself risk getting ripped off is too great.... When you're sick and bed ridden it doesn't matter where you are. Play safe!

Real bad right now 8.00am. The worse I even have seen on Jomtien beach! However, don't feel it but no 9km walk this morning. https://www.iqair.com/th-en/thailand/chon-buri/pattaya "155" "PM2.5 concentration in Pattaya is currently 13.8 times the WHO annual air quality guideline value."

It's very sad there's nobody. Non "normal" sane person will not go through mean and nasty election process.

1/2 km is not near.... 0 - 200 meters - no pollution.

I loved to live in Lake Mabprachan BUT the air quality was so hot and "thick" and no breeze. Now back to Jomtien beach, a block from ocean, higher floor to get fresh air 24/7. no need to run AC. What a difference! Now THIS is heaven -:)

Which is the best choice?
GypsyT replied to WalterTP's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Too many questions to answer and provide proof of; - R/T ticket, income, paid hotel, personal finances, copy of passport stamps etc etc - Sometimes proof of health insurance - Different requirements dep on what country you coming from Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document Photograph taken within the last six months Document indicating current location Travel booking confirmation Proof of accommodation in Thailand, e.g. Accommodation bookings, invitation letters from family/friends in Thailand Required Document (Please check relevant embassy/ consulate's website for specifically required documents) ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, -Do visa free entry - no questions. Just walk in. No need proof of anything except ticket out of Thailand within 30 days. Later get 30 day extension and visit to Vietnam or Cambodia for an other 30 days. -
My Thai gf never follows those paintings.... and gets there fast.

Correct! You plan is good. Do everything by yourself. If Thai owner they don't know how to fire up laptop. -
Quitting Google anything... fed up for constant changes
GypsyT replied to GypsyT's topic in IT and Computers
Good to hear it's been working for you so long. Google has played games with me claiming "Your account has been hacked" and they demand PIN changes. At same time they (?) were able to remove Email transfer to Proton. I reported all to Proton and restored auto transfer. This is still on going. I didn't hear anything from proton. I may try proton VPN too when my ExpressVPN expires. So far it's working very good. I don't use Google maps etc anything. -
They calmed down a little but party is still going on: "A few years ago the local government decided to close down some of the bars that lined the shores of the Mekong River and the notorious parties stopped. Today, backpackers still come to Vang Vieng in search of drugs, alcohol, fun and relaxation. They find all of those, but the town is much quieter and calmer. 28 Aug 2023"

Benjakitti wet land park is the worse disaster.... Ugly concrete, hot sun and no place to sit! https://www.thaipbsworld.com/bangkoks-new-wetlands-give-back-life-to-mother-nature/

I hear this is the place where the party is (if you like that): "Vang Vieng has become a backpacker-oriented town, with the main street featuring guest houses, bars, restaurants, internet cafes, and tour agencies. Attractions of the town include inner tubing and kayaking on the Nam Song River, which, until 2012, was lined with bars selling Beer Lao and Lao-Lao, and equipped with rope swings, zip lines, swimming and diving into blue lagoon, and large decks for socializing."
