Thank you! I do have 4 other laptops and WD external drive as back up. Plus a few USB sticks with most important data. it's just so much work to reorganize all if sheeet hits the fan. It has happened 4 or 5 times during 20 yrs. I no longer am interested in "latest hi tech". I have brain power to do all but why bother? When Internet was born I did and managed my own web sites etc. But it's so boooooring... I don't even use SmartPhone - they are so stupid. Battery life? There ain't any. I use 20 yr old analog NOKIAs. No tracking. No BS. At various airports they get helper to fill out forms - VIP treatment 🙂 for free. The last one was in Manila.

The fan event at One Bangkok will welcome the riders and teams on stage between 16:30 and 18:30 for interviews and to show off their 2025 colours. Looks like prices are down from my last stay near DMK. NJOY, MIDA and 12 The Residency meet my price range. That's OK for 6-8h stay within walking distance. DMK is such a messy airport and BTS designer had brain fade... They should build a bridge.

My budget is around 1000 THB. Just a clean, quiet room. No breakfast etc needed. Reason; Cheap flights are often between midnight and 6 am.

Thanks for that! I didn't know about it. However, I didn't notice any changes for me and when/if they come I got time. I like and use public transportation in all countries I visit. Great place to see how regular folk live.

Reading all above I don't understand why my many trips are always pleasant 🙂 Maybe pure luck? I even take this to DMK; Jomtien bus to BKK, then Air Link to Makkasan, then short walk to Phetchaburi Metro and continue to Main Train Station and finally 1 short train hop to DMK. Works great! All for about 300 THB. And as fast or faster than taxi in rush hour.
