Just because your child is 'half farang' does not make them immune from the fact they might be thick therefore the private school prices are a waste of money, should that be the case.

When i see all these wannabe farang thai boxers running about the streets early morning in their little thai boxer shorts and vests i just think they look like bell ends.

But Thai's all pitch in, they live many to a house / room, retired farangs are alone or with Thai partners only. Of course we have the Thai elite who we couldn't imagine ever having that sort of wealth but they are the 1% ers. Farangs will never pay Thai prices ( don't care how long you've been here or how good your Thai is ), majority of farangs will not shop for food at the local thai markets etc, which are much much cheaper ( although mostly poor quality ). My ball park would be 60-80k per month with everything paid for, house / condo and vehicles etc.

You can't compare what a local makes and needs to live to a retired expat, you're comparing apples and oranges.

Japan and Korea are two different countries, google it if you don't believe me.

Totally agree, i was there during Covid and it was fantastic, hardly any long tails, spotless beaches, clean water and no Chinese / Russian ( or many other tourists ).

Sounds like you need to find something better to do with your life, why bother with all this hassle. Never understood all these farang jobsworths on committees etc, who needs the hassle. I own a condo ( as a second property ) that i use once or twice a month for a few days, get all the newsletters and invited to the AGMs ( or whatever they're called ) and just think wtf, i think there's only about 5-6 people bother going to them tbh.

Friend stayed at the Urban when it was new (ish) about 12 years ago ( i think ), 1 bedroom place, was ok but small. Great location.
