  1. Not sure about propaganda, but I was reading in the western mainstream media about how the Pentagon's OIG itself claims that around US$1 billion of US aid in the form of weaponry sent to Ukraine is unaccounted for. That's around 2.3% that's come up missing.
  2. You do know that the person in this report is from Ukraine and Putin is Russian, don't you? Does it matter? Ukraine is undeniably and forever part of Russia. It's only an independent nation in the eyes of the malign western alliances. They conjured it up simply to deny the existence of Kievan Rus and its integral role in the true destiny of the motherland. I know this for a fact because that's what Putin says.
  3. It is because most people would pass out before getting that wasted. .05 is buzzed, .08 (the old limit) is drunk. I'd be surprised if she could walk at .189 She certainly couldn't drive, which, if you remember, is exactly what happened. Anyway, you already killed your own argument when you started with "most people". For example, my sister, after a dozen plus pints of McEwans, could easily climb onto a small lounge bar table, cross both her legs behind her head and sing 'The Fog on the Tyne' while others with a lower imbibe couldn't stand up or even remember the words. I trust you are familiar with the term 'outliers'?
  4. It doesn't "cause" paranoia in non susceptible people but it multiplies it in paranoid schizophrenics. Marijuana use in schizophrenic teens has terrible outcomes. Precisely the same reason why in the US, guns in themselves don't cause people to 'go postal' unless they're paranoid schizophrenics already.
  5. Bummer. I guess the OP's just gonna have to bite the bullet, stay here in Thailand, give up weed and pay taxes.
  6. But they're loads more fun when they. Or so a friend tells me.
  7. So she was nearly four times the legal limit? Why is that so totally unbelievable (he ponders while looking at eight wrecked cars)?
  8. That is incorrect. I legged it as soon as I could.
  9. Are U saying I could have HIV? What are the symptoms? @Ralf001 is very good. He's a frequent contributor over in the motors forum too. "What does it mean when your monocytes are high? A high monocyte level may indicate inflammation, infection, blood disorders, and other health issues. Along with other types of white blood cells, monocytes are a key element of your immune response. High levels can result from a range of issues, including: leukemia." "Should I be worried if my monocytes are high? A high monocyte count is a potential sign of many different medical conditions. It's often linked to infectious diseases like mononucleosis or an autoimmune disease like lupus. Some medications can cause monocytosis. It's also linked to conditions such as blood disorders and certain cancers." Google (and your doctor) is your friend.
  10. Does anyone trust their government anywhere not to flip-flop on policy? The last thing I would ever depend on is "government support". As for lobbyists and paying off senators, I think it's called vested interests buying senators in Thailand. This is a inter-party, factional fisticuffs between a couple of over entitled cliques. Nobody involved really gives a hoot if cannabis-related businesses go to the wall or if the tourist numbers drop (like they ever increased due to pot legalization anyway).
  11. Did you get these tests done standalone at a lab with their auto-diagnosis or, have you discussed this with your regular doc, GP, etc.?
  12. Yup, ALL my money's going into my wife's account. When she gets assessed for income tax, I'll cut her a check. Sorted.
  13. ...and start a third rejection thread for the wide-mouth bass that swim amongst us.
  14. So, in order to make the OP look foolish, three members have made fools of themselves. Priceless.
  15. What are you doing Thursday then? Fancy a trip to Laos? Optional Udon Thani stopover either side?
  16. Oh my, isn't that precious. It appears @Pattaya57 had donated an appointment slot to the beleaguered OP. That's what (forum) friends are for.
  17. Oh dear. I think it is time for the, "In over 45 years of very frequent air travel, I have never, ever had this happen to me" comment.
  18. I think that Avoidance and Evasion are way too similar, and tend to draw the same unwelcome attention. I much prefer to call my strategy Tax Mitigation.
  19. Well spotted. The cut-and-paste pictures are deceptive enough but seriously, does anyone think they are getting anything, ANYTHING decent and high quality when the prices are that low?
  20. It's the farang's overriding sense of superiority which is distilled to a potent level on these hallowed pages.
  21. The OP should just get a new SIM. Even better, get an eSIM. They are harder to lose.
