Condo rental recommendations please
The price is probably a bit lower because that’s the parking structure opposite. Cars park there behind the plants and would be looking directly into the unit. At least they are honest with the pictures. This is a good example why viewing listings is helpful (assuming it’s updated and current which they typically aren’t. Thus the agent recommendation again. Part of their job is contacting places to see when and if it’s still available). It can save a lot of time viewing units you may not be interested in. Some people may not care, that’s ok too, just visit each one and bring lots of water. Retired means lots of free time. Great exercise as well. One guy likes parking lots, others don’t. No way to tell really.

Condo rental recommendations please
Still no listings, just time wasting posts. If the Op goes to enough buildings they might find “something”. Bring lots of water. I’m looking forward to any listings you may have available. Please post some pictures, availability, prices, etc. They should meet the criteria the Op has stated. Make sure to call in to see if it’s available “now” and don’t just pull an old listing off online before recommending. Is that beachfront unit available now? If not, why recommend it or mention it? It just wastes time.

Condo rental recommendations please
That’s true, but you need to back up the recommendation with photo’s, prices, everything, or it’s a waste of time. In that case you’re basically acting as an agent, minus the contract work. Just blabbing go here or there does little to help the op. He would be running around in circles like a chicken without a head (or brain) trying to find what you are recommending, or likely the place would be let already. Like I said before, agents have current info with pictures so they can make an informed decision.

Vasectomy options in Pattaya?
Just a porcelain dental crown costs 20k these days. 35k is not much.

Not pictures of available units. You would need an agent for that. Hipflat etc all have outdated listings that are rarely currently available.

It doesn’t have to be on recommendation alone. I recommend an agent to go over the listings yourself. Everyone’s different, the chances of liking a place that someone else likes are pretty low in my opinion and a waste of time.

Condo rental recommendations please
My wanting to leave my place has nothing to do with the agent I used or what I wanted to book. It’s just a personal change of heart after being here awhile. It’s much better in fact then the Talay bunk I had before this. Also, it’s about being in Pattaya at all, not the condo. The condo is pretty nice. It just does not do it for me if I don’t like the city much. If anything the Op needs to make sure they really like Pattaya would be my suggestion. For the Op you don’t know what your getting unless you have pictures in front of you to widdle down your choices. You sound picky (beach, noise, etc etc). A picture says a thousand words. Some expert on here thinks a place is great, then you show up and it’s a trash can. Go figure. Your probably going to find it a big waste of time traveling around to different buildings someone mentioned for freak knows what reason, then not liking the rooms they have. Goes double if your walking. Bring lots of water or use grab or bolt taxi. As far as the deposit goes you would need to pay that anyway. The plus of not using an agent would be that the rental price is not bumped up to pay for the agent commission (usually one month), but you could always just negotiate down. Let us know if you find something you like just based on recommendations alone.

So he is mobile, just walking, so wants something central? No problems there. Pretty much my situation as well. I suggest he visit one of the many real estate agents in town or their websites. Go over a bunch of units at once, and they drive you around to view, rather then piddling around town or on Internet forums. I suggest Gekko Properties. They are across from the Big C Pattaya Klang. Good luck. Wastes too much time finding places one by one (unless you just want anything). You get there don’t like it and waste half the day. Go look at some listings and pictures so you don’t waste time.

How much does a Retirement Home cost in Thailand?
Inheritance is one thing, paying for it is another. When these places up the rent they like to lean on relatives for payment. They know most residents are on fixed incomes. Some try sneaky tactics to get you to co-sign during initial admission, or later by signing off on treatment plans. It’s also difficult to move out once your in there especially if there are mobility issues.

German expat in Thailand faces death penalty for premeditated murder
It still sucks though. He was not Thai so he probably does not want his pictures there. Get it?

I walked by there tonight and the place was freak empty except for the bar staff. Huge place but they don’t seem to get many customers.

How much does a Retirement Home cost in Thailand?
???? It’s more like $120k USD a year now for a nice/semi luxury place if you need some care. The places get REAL BAD in the USA if you can’t pay much. It’s like living in a hospital. I visited an extended family relative in a cheap one years ago and it was very depressing and I was only there a couple hours! Suicide level stuff if your just stuck there. Ramble over, but something to consider if your going back to the USA.

The guy in the vid looks out of shape. I’m not sure about the old man and elderly stuff. I’m 54, so it’s just 6 years difference. I don’t think I’d just get knocked down like a bowling pin. Nobody calls me “pops”, but if they did they’d be my boy. ????

One of the reasons why well trained Muay Thai and other fighters can be more restrained then a typical pissed off bloke is that the fighters have years of training being repeatedly hit. When that happens they lose the emotional reaction and anger to being hit. So it’s more like they are just doing a hobby rather then fighting. If they are in the ring you see emotional reactions from the audience vs just calm techniques from the fighters.

What are they supposed to wear, shorts without pockets? A collared shirt? Closed toe shoes? Pattaya is a place we’re people are letting go and having a good time, not going to work. Anyone see the Thai guy laughing at the end of the video and not want to give him a good slap?

You grabbed a young thai guy by the ankle and pulled him toward you and he could not get it up and you were not hard? That’s hilarious, but off topic.

Pops should have given ‘em a good spanking (as long as they didn’t enjoy getting one ????????????♂️). Absence of a father figure is a big problem here.

It’s not really a club foot, just missing 3cm of one leg. Motorbike accident and botched surgery.

Well yes, minus the bargirl factor.
