One thing the Op may also want to practice doing is disengaging from just anybody passing by. When you get irritated like that it means you are interacting with the wrong people energetically in some way. Learn to tune people out and decide who is worth your attention. I did this in Vietnam when I lived there to maintain my sanity and it does work, but takes a lot of conscious effort at first. There are practices you can do like visualizing yourself in a bubble, or avoiding eye contact, etc. Eye contact is a big one for me. How many people irritate you that you don’t look at? Even more radical sunglasses ???? and earphones. Anyone irritate you listening to your favorite songs? Learn later to have the glasses and earphones on in your mind only.

It’s probably location. Time to move North. Try Chiang Mai / Chiang Rai. Unless things have drastically changed the past three years people are much nicer up there. I think it’s because it’s cooler or more Lao influence in the culture. I got real negative when I moved south. Attitude is very different.

The Thai’s actually do the sauce thing even on local food. The street vendors want to put a bunch of junk on things, squirt bottle sauces, condiments, the roti is always drowned at the end, egg rolls are never served dry but need the red sauce on it in the bag, etc. They don’t like not putting it on even when you say no. It’s like it’s not good enough as it is and they feel like they need to “service the food” in some way to make you like it or so you see the effort and don’t complain. Weird.

I’m not coming in from Tahiti or Hawaii. I’m comparing it to other places I have lived in Thailand and Vietnam. Cambodia is worse, I prefer Jomtien. I never pay more then 20k a month. If you have lived in other places around and still prefer Jomtien, fine. If not, I would suggest trying out other locations and see if Pattaya and Jomtien still seem grubby or not.

I hated jomtien. There were just a bunch of grubby bars and the beach sucked. I sat on the beach one time, immediately bothersome vendors come up and don’t want to scram. there was a nice restaurant there though. I can’t think of why someone would want to live there. I guess it depends on what your used to if your coming in from a bad environment it looks great, or some people just see positive in everything, I’m not sure ????????‍♂️.

Thais don’t do “sauces” well on foreign food. It’s either the wrong kind or too much, never just right. I guess I can’t blame them, it’s hard to make something when you don’t know how it’s supposed to taste ????????‍♂️.

The old temples argument again, basically. You chose Pattaya for a reason though, not because of all those things which are a stretch. It was most likely grubby bars and women of I’ll repute. You may have grown out of it but you don’t fool me. It could have been anywhere else for those things you mentioned.

Wine is not the same as beer or hard alcohol. Much healthier. Not many around drinking wine in Thailand. I did have a neighbor who liked it, he moved to Portugal.

I lived in cm about 5 years. I left because I got bored going to the same places and eateries each time. After years in one spot I need to get out for more stimulation and to see new things.

My railing ends just below my belly. I would not go over in a strong wind but if I was horsing around out there after a couple beers or a buddy play shoved me or something I could see myself going off. The reason being is there’s more of my body weight above the rail, then below it.

I still can’t figure out why people retire to Pattaya. It’s just a bunch of grubby bars and people sitting around drinking. What are people getting out of their stay here? All I can see benefit-wise is women and getting loaded, but that would get so expensive I can’t see anyone doing it long term, especially if they had a decent condo and were not living in a shoebox room.

You could try sleeping with a different girl every night. It would get real expensive though and you would likely end up with all sorts of diseases.

How would it stop it from happening twice or more? They could slip in as many as they wanted at any time if it was a scam and not a mistake.

White people food in the USA is basically Walmart food. It’s what you get at the Walmart super center. Kind of boring unnutricious stuff that’s filling but has little nutrition. You need to keep buying more each time because it has no nutrition and your body says it’s hungry again even though your eating a lot of calories.

I saw an old Chinese lady at a hotel buffet try to take all the shrimp for herself poke it on the plate then not eat it the staff had to throw it out!

I don’t think rock stars and such stay in Pattaya. They seem to just visit for a day then quickly move on. Tommy Lee of Motley Crue went down walking st once, but he did not appear very excited from the video. He gets women all over so no need to be in Pattaya for him.

What do you think of skyfall, broski. The sign ladies are very good looking, but they never go in with me. I just get passed off to other staff inside. I guess they stay outside to attract people in ????????‍♂️.

The guy did see what the charges were, and they were inflated according to him (unless he was just refusing to pay what he thought was a correct bill ????????‍♂️). What good would it do him to check it each time if they were maliciously put there?

Will state the obvious and say again it was likely a scam, not a mistake. Someone puts an inflated slip in your bin, what good does it do to check it each time? get it? ???? Go around the board again ????
