  1. “Greasy Diego’s” You makes a “run for the border” (crossing the land border from California to Tijuana), and you gits “runs at the border” (diarrhea) from eating at Taco Bell. See the donkey show.
  2. Is it Ok to go there if I have a gold filling?
  3. Strange. My stamped insurance letter said it fulfilled all the requirements for the O-A but it only listed an inpatient amount. Maybe I got lucky at the airport they did not check closely.
  4. Outpatient is required for an O-A extension? Outpatient was not required when I entered on an O-A. I hope not, outpatient is quite an expensive option on my policy.
  5. Are the golf courses open this weekend? I wanted to get a game in. Please let me know if the golf courses are open.
  6. When I’m being served I don’t care much as long as I don’t hear any complaints ????????‍♂️.
  7. Yep. Or it’s stroking the ego. Making people think they are great, special, etc.
  8. That’s right bob! We are guests that were invited in with an invitation (visa), not party crashers. The host is expected to pay!
  9. I very rarely hear someone from the USA call the United States “America”. Are you really a US citizen?
  10. I’m not afraid of dying, but I’m afraid of people finding my body ????
  11. Is BS buddy. You’ll get this kind of thing all over the longer you stay here. It’s not just at immigration.
  12. One thing many don’t realize is that these assisted living facilities bump up the prices after people are settled in. In turns into a snowball effect. Your lucky if it stays at the price you heard about! Not sure about the Uk but the private ones in the USA can go up 20% or more at random (with no notice) if more care is needed, and rarely if ever does it go down. They know how hard it is to move people out once they are settled in. Be warned! They don’t like to discharge people however. Do it’s more about attaching assets like homes, etc if they can’t get relatives to sign off. If you do the lawyers come after your assets, usually after the resident passes away.
  13. Unfortunately, I can’t help you this time. Good luck!
  14. Gambia may be a sad story of those women actually looking for long term partners, not sex. For women in that age bracket, I don’t think the sex drive is strong enough to fly all the way over there and go through the trouble.
  15. Sounds like the movie “Jaws” just don’t go in the water. I guess there’s always restaurants where you can go and watch the water. ???? If that was a great beach I would be living down there, sunbathing and swimming in the water like I did in Mexico. Did not even do that once in Jomtein it’s so dirty. Here comes the brigade saying I was just in the wrong area.
  16. Bali seems more about the guys to me. The whole of Indonesia and Malaysia seems guy oriented in terms of sexual preference now that I think about it. ???? I think a lot of the male expats there are actually gay.
  17. Your probably thinking of Mexican dudes at the beach resort areas.
  18. My landlord in college was an older gay dude and he loved Bali. Said he wanted to retire there. Now I know why! Good luck to him wherever he settled.
  19. Daughters and sons marrying wealthier partners who carry up the family. That’s about it in a nutshell.
  20. Look at the big brain on Brad! Allow me to retort. That’s a tasty burger. Kahuna Burger. That’s that new Hawaiian burger joint, right?
  21. JimTripper replied to kbb's topic in Isaan
That’s what everyone thinks. Not necessarily. My family had a trust set up in advance with a designated person (a family member). Extended family stepped in and managed to have money disbursed early when one passed away, going against the trust instructions. Multiple people had access to the bank account, changed passwords on each other, etc. Bad scene. The only way I would do it is with a lawyer, but then you need to get a lawyer you trust ????. Even better, don’t let people know what you have or bring it up. Don’t have “family dinners” where you discuss dying and who gets what, etc.
