I thought it's not possible to regrow bone and if you wait 3 months 60 percent of the original bone is gone. Hence the need for bone grafts

You can bet they're actively searching for a way to dissolve MFP long before the next election -
The days of military coups in Thailand are gone : Sutin

There's no need for a coup when what was formerly the largest opposition party has agreed to do your bidding. It's just all one big circle jerk now.- 70 replies

Almost everybody can get implants but some need q bone graft. It's not uncommon for the bone to be too thin especially on top. When I had my implant, the first dentist wanted me to have a major bone graft. It would have taken 7 months and cost 50,000 a tooth. Another dentist told me I would need a sinus lift, a more minor procedure that would have cost 20,000 or so. I went to a third dentist and he said no bone graft necessary. I went with him. That was two and half years ago and it's been fine so far more or less.

Remember, Yingluck thought she had a deal with the opposition to pass the amnesty bill aimed at her brother. Instead, the Democrats reneged and Suthep launched the Bangkok Shutdown. It'd be funny if Thaksin arrives back in Bangkok and finds out that whatever deal he has finagled by betraying his supporters is also tossed out and he's left to rot in jail. I know I wouldn't trust the military.

At your age, my advice is that it's time to stop thinking about receiving pleasure and focus on giving pleasure. Hone your techniques for bring your partners to orgasm (again and again and again). Remember, it's in the giving not the receiving that we find true happiness. -

What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2023)

Another movie with a woman of 58i kilos beating up men twice her size. A James Bond fantasy for women. I did enjoy No Hard Feelings, which was just as unrealistic but it was funny and it had Jennifer Lawrence. Nothing particularly creative about it but the take on modern snowflakes was amusing . And Lawrence can make even a mediocre movie watchable. -
You have to pay a premium too. Walking to buy food should be part of your exercise regime if you're retired.

The problem isn't with the current requirements, it's with the screening procedures. Changing the regulations won't solve that. Plus, even on this forum people complain about retirees who use agents but the agents arent cheap. Even for the cheapest at 12,500, that comes out to more than $350 and the price can run all the way up to 20,000 or even 30,000, depending on various factors. So it's not like you're getting a great deal. A smarter thing to do would be to normalize that process. Just charge 15,000 for example for an extension. That would enhance immigration revenues, obviate the need to have 800,000 sitting in the bank doing nothing, and get rid of all this gray area stuff. The objective should be to simplify the process and take away the discretion immigration officers currently have.

The only effect of the previous "reforms" was a steep decline in the number of retirement visa holders and a surge in the number of agents. If I remember correctly,, Thailand is only issuing about 40,000 retirement extensions a year. Double the fiscal requirement without any corresponding incentives and most of the remaining foreigners will abandon ship. All that will be left are the elite visa holders and the Chinese.
