How's that approach working out back home? The progressives have had their turn, now the "law and order" team should get theirs. My vote is for electrodes to the genitals and waterboarding, but I'm on the soft side. You want this duo sobbing on camera as a warning to those who visit Thailand and commit crimes. Just like that entitled Yank teen who spray painted cars in Singapore. Caned and begged for mommy to save him.

Your opinion of eradication of dogs
Bobthegimp replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I've come around to this way of thinking after having problems with pigeons on my balcony. At home it would be the airgun and a black garbage bag. That's not how things are done in Thailand, and I get it. Pigeons can't help being filthy and annoying and shouldn't be killed for being so. It required a bit of ingenuity, but I've succeeded in making my pigeon problem someone else's pigeon problem. I've gone native! -
That sounds horrible. Why not leave? Life is too short to put up with that kind of crap.

Your opinion of eradication of dogs
Bobthegimp replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
That happened to a manager at the TQ in Pattaya many years ago. Crashed avoiding a dog, made it to work but succumbed to a brain injury later, is how the story was told to me. One night I was standing near Ronpo Market, Jomtien 2nd Rd. A Thai man with a motorbike food vending setup rode past and a soi dog went after him viciously. The Thai guy was even more aggressive and went after the dog with a steel rod. The dog escaped, but I wish he'd bashed its skull in. Most dogs are fine but ones like that need to be culled on the spot. A dog like that can get ahold of someone's calf muscle and instantly hamstring a person. There's no recovery from that injury. -
Is that necessary? How are things going in the Middle East at the moment? It might be more expedient to write a list of people he/they haven't provoked than the ones he/they have. After getting their asses kicked in Afghanistan (and leaving 85 billion worth of weapons behind) the rest of the Muslim world is having a go at Creepy Ol' Joe. Now it's Yemen's turn, one of the poorest, most backward countries in the world. Creepy Joe is also having his/their asses handed to them in Ukraine. Poking the Bear is great for the arms industry but it hasn't gone well for German industry, whose CO2 emissions are down to 2006 levels. Well, that's enough for now.

Funny that nobody mentions the Child Sniffer in Chief or his band of merry puppet masters.

Maybe she's the one who stabbed the driver. Women always get a pass on their bad behavior. I wonder if Thai men can "identify" as women and go into a women's prison instead. Plenty of hotties in jail here, not like the hulking trolls back home. "Chained Heat 3: Pattaya" with Linda Blair as the warden.

Allegedly Intoxicated Thai Woman Causes Car Pileup on Jomtien Beach
Bobthegimp replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
My home province (B.C.) in Canada used to have a limit of .08 and reduced it to .05. I was breathalyzed after drinking 2l of Strongbow cider and it measured .04. The same test administered on a full stomach, same quantity of Strongbow yielded .012. Both tests were administered by a qualified officer on a properly calibrated machine. The lady in question would have had a BAC 15x higher than I did after 2l of cider. That's a hell of a lot of booze, but I'd say you're correct that a seasoned alcoholic could pull it off. -
I don't care what you or anyone else puts into their body. Fill your boots. If an addict tries to steal my property to support that habit there will be unpleasant consequences. That's where my personal line is drawn. Experience has taught me that drug addicts don't file assault complaints, so feel free to deal with them as you see fit without the fear of legal ramifications. What worries me is that you lot will start your pro doper s h it over here like you did back home and bring down the wrath of the Thai populace on us non dopers who live here in peace and wish to continue doing so.

Allegedly Intoxicated Thai Woman Causes Car Pileup on Jomtien Beach
Bobthegimp replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
It is because most people would pass out before getting that wasted. .05 is buzzed, .08 (the old limit) is drunk. I'd be surprised if she could walk at .189 If it goes to court the first thing any decent lawyer would do is request the calibration dates for the machine and verification that the officer who conducted the test was certified to do so. If Thai courts function as they do in the West, the impaired charge would be dropped if either the machine or operator wasn't up to snuff. It then becomes a civil matter over the property damage. Since the impaired charge was thrown out her insurance company would likely have to pick up the tab and she'd walk away with a clean record. -
With alcoholics it's either mirth or fighting. With dopers it's hysterical laughter and the sound of potato chip (crisps to the other folks) bags being ripped open. I've never known a doper who smoked a refer and slapped the s h it out of his wife and kids. Drunks are far more difficult to deal with.

Take that with a grain of salt. The machines are somewhat delicate and need to be properly calibrated..... Was she over .05? Most likely. Was she .189 ? I highly doubt it. -
Some people call us "extremists" and don't want us there after hours. We're connecting all of the kebab shops in Pattaya via a network of tunnels.
-
He can't help it. It's the "progressive" mindset, where the end justifies the means and the truth is a malleable concept based on what's fashionable. The fact is that no foreigner has a say in how Thais govern their country. These dopers will bring the wrath of respectable Thais down on the rest of us.
-
That would have been useful information, wouldn't it? It's beside Subway on Soi Diana, in front of Charlie Place. Some young lads and I are working on a tunnel so we can access the place after hours. Wish us well. And don't rat us out to the city officials!

Andrew Tate Defends Dual Pricing
Bobthegimp replied to save the frogs's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Sorry, you're correct. I responded to the lady and not to Mr. Tate, whom this thread is about. I went to India 20 years ago (big mistake) and dual pricing was advertised in print media: one price for Indians and one for foreigners + NRIs (non resident Indians). It shocked me because the Indian immigrants in Canada whinged non stop about racism and inequality, yet came from a culture that perpetuates it.
