  1. The only Pattaya hospital on Intervac is BPH and I am not sure if they even know they are on the "list".  Anyway they don't seem to have any vaccine.

It appears that other local hospitals are at best not very farang friendly, except perhaps if you have a pink ID card.

That leaves the so called (or was) walk-in site at the indoor stadium.  Can farangs use this?  Has anyone any experience?  In particular how long to wait for the first jab and how long between jabs.

I know it is not the most luxurious option, but maybe has its good points - like availability.

People: PLEASE limit comments here to be about practical information about vaccine access for Pattaya area expats.

This is not a general vaccine or Covid-19 discussion topic.

Not all topics need to be about everything.

By posting away from the topic, the value of the information here for interested local Pattaya area expats seeking vaccines is degraded.

There are other topics for other Covid-19 or vaccine info, or members can open their own new topics if not.

You started a valuable thread that has been repeatedly hijacked and peppered with childish bickering.

Please people get back on topic!!!!! If you don't know what it is go back to the heading!!!!!

  3. The Government needs to get its collective head around the most important reason for vaccination.

Yes, I get the vaccine to protect me. I.e. to stop me getting the virus. On that basis perhaps the Government is right to give priority to its own people.

The main reason, however, is to prevent the spread of the virus in the community. I.e. to stop me getting the virus and passing it on to a thousand Thais. On that basis any prioritizing on the basis of race, religion or ethnic origins is wrong and just plain stupid.  Yes, even kingons should get it.

Perhaps the Government will eventually get it, but don't hold your breath. That is why this thread is important so we can monitor the situation!!!

At this point I am going to post an obvious question.

Has any f-rang,  any f-rang at all walked into Pattaya City Hospital on Soi Bukhao with their passport and no Thai ID number and been able to manually sign up for a vaccine reservation there?

    Good question!!!

Perhaps we can return this thread to your OP, which I think a lot of posters have not read.

Please folks - back on topic.  This is important.

The numbers arriving in the country are of concern (288 today)

Authorities at point of deperture are obviously just letting them board. or does this include land border entries bound for quarantine anyway

The OP is far from clear.  It talks about "people entering quarantine" not people entering the country. The form of reporting has changed over the past couple of days and needs some clarification.

    What's the demand note?

I had demand notes for some of my condos, but not others. The ones I did not have demand notes for I took a copy of the chanote; not because it was required, but to correctly identify the property.
Staff were helpful, efficient and polite.  Reasonable English was spoken. I expected problems and was pleasantly surprised.

  7. I am "trapped" in Thailand and although a little frustrating it is no big deal. I do feel very sorry for those that are trapped outside Thailand, especially those whose extensions have, or will soon, expire.

It would really be a small thing for the Thai Government to do to offer an amnesty so that when retirees can return, they can have, say three months, to re-instate their extensions.  If they could announce it now it would put a lot of minds at ease.

It would not get retirees back any sooner, but it would remove one problem.
