Everything I have been hearing from the "Belt and Road project is bad. Hemorrhaging money and bankrupting countries. China signing high interest loans and using their labor to built the thing.. After built they will flood the market with their products.

Who cares, Only reason I came back is because the Chinese are locked down and unable to travel. As soon as they are back on the road again I am out of here.

South America, and it was not as bad as this time around. Maybe a different strain here, not sure. Also I had just received my second shot a few weeks earlier. First time it was really mild, this time I was pretty sick and achey for a couple of days. Back in the states I pretty much keep to myself. I have a small home there that keeps me busy. So, I stay off the streets and away from busy airports and people.

Kinda creepy IMO.. But, many moons ago I had a friend from the US that was completely bald except with a small fringe around the bottom.. Once a month he had it dyed jet black... hahaha.

Best to keep that to yourself also. I have a home in the US worth a few hundred thousand. And with this political climate I will keep it there for my peace of mind. And out of sight of others.

I have Covid now, went to the hospital. They gave a covid test. Asked if I was vaccinated and with what and how many. Gave me some pills and Tylenol sent me home in 15 minutes. 500 baht. This is my second bout with it. Thank god for the great and free vaccines I have gotten in the US.. With out them I would be on Boot Hill now. Or stuck in my home going stark raving mad.. Times are a changing.

I was thinking of making a nice tea out of it. Just a thought. I found a place that delivers now.. So we will see. I am much better today. Went to the hospital three days ago and they gave me some pills and cough medicine. And sent me home. 500 baht... Next day after taking the pills I felt better. Thanks Pfizer... And a big thanks for the US government that made the vaccines available to me pronto and no cost... two thumbs up.. I am over 70 and doubt I would of made it threw this without the vaccines.

The millions of expats from the US and Canada would definitely disagree with you. It's huge, got everything you would want. It's expensive compared to Thailand IMO. Beaches are just beautiful. I used to drive down there all the time and it is definitely more dangerous at the border. Also it is becoming the fastest growing country in the world. It is taking the factories located in China and dropping them in Mexico.

If you think that is funny Antone you will laugh yourself silly with this. China cannot feed themselves and they import something like 80-90 % of their energy. Their demographics are the worst in the world by far. Predictions have it at a 50% reduction in population by 2040-2050. Russia is in better shape than they are. But, they are looking at the same scenario in the future. So, they cannot feed themselves and they import almost all of their energy to run their factories. All the US has to do is sit back and watch the implosion. And if the energy is cut by a large amount they will starve to death and the China machine will cease to exist in a year. And Xi is the most insulated dictator of all times in China. He has killed or run off all the thinkers in the government. He is a one man show.. That does not have the smart people around him to help run a huge business (China), No where to go but down.

New variant in China is very deadly and very contagious. Do your homework.

Hard to wrap your head around I know.. But De Globalization is coming ... Another disturbing thing is food. Not sure if Thailand will have a big problem. But , since China has outlawed fertilizer sales, and the Ukraine war??? The countries that cannot feed themselves without fertilizer will be in for a world of hurt. China is one of those countries. That is why they stoped exporting fertilizer. This is a problem we will know if and how it will affect the world very soon. From what I am reading it will take years to replace China fertilizer exports. Poor countries and others will be facing famin. We are talking mass starvation..

De-Globilization is going to hit Thailand like a ton of bricks. Absolutely nothing they can do about it. They are in a better position than some, but that is not saying much. You are going to loose China, manufacturing is going back to the US. Japan will still be around to suck your young workers up to do their biding when it is convenient. All the scams they they are trying to push out are laughable IMO. 5-10 years Thailand will be back to analog technology. Looking at a failed China and wondering what happened.
