Hard to believe how much Thailand has changed since the last coup.. Even before it was getting pretty bad, but now it is a pain in the A$$ = pass.

I just drove from BKK to Nong Khai. The so called improvements they make every year is going on. It would have been a nightmare in a car like that. Not to mention the left side of the road is almost underivable because of the heavy trucks they let tear up the roads there. Even with a high clearance vehicle it is a total mess. After you get off the main highways the road quality drops by a factor of 10 IMO.. If you want to drive in BKK or a few other places the roads or ok. I just don't believe you, sorry dude. After reading your posts I just kinda laugh... Even the taxi's have to be careful driving those highways and other low clearance vehicles. But, Thailand is way ahead of Laos and a few others. In Laos you would not las 10 minutes.. If you do much travel around Asia you need a good vehicle..

Haven't said anything worth responding to. You don't have a clue or just drive to the restaurant to impress people. You just don't know what you are talking about.. I don't know what to say.. Anyone that has driven Thailand much knows how worthless these kind of cars are.. Happy trails..haha

Guy's that buy these kind of cars definitely have more money than cents... They are basically worthless.

Idiots is not to harsh IMO. If you drive one here then! Actually if you do any traveling a cheap Ford, Toyota, high clearance will run circles around what ( I assume you are driving ). Actually a 200K watch would hold it's value better and show more sense...

Not at all, only people in Thailand and places where they are pretty much useless. You pretty much lost my interest when you said the roads are good in Thailand. You just don't know what you are talking about what so ever. I mean you can tool around on a few roads in Thailand just like many Asian countries but that is very limited. Most people that have money in Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and in Thailand that have money are not idiots. They buy high in Lexus high road clearance SUV's.. They are the smart ones. You? just another guy or girl that doesn't travel and has very little knowledge. A few buy the Land Cruiser, but idiots will be idiots..

Kinda funny actually, In the 15 years traveling in SE Asia the only cars like this I have seen on the roads are in BKK, and a few other places. Totally useless cars in Thailand.

Must be the dealer that sold the car.. Na, Thais are idiots that buy these also. You must not travel in Thailand... It's pretty obvious you have absolutely no idea what is going on in most parts of the country. Last truck I had there I put 370 KM on it from north to south many times. Only people that buy cars like this are not to bright IMHO. But you should know that? Have a good one.

I quit using the app. Was charged double for a purchase. First time I tried the app said it was not able to process the purchase, try again later.. So I waited a while and tried again. Bam, double charged.. Got on line and the guy tole me to alway check my balance and my transactions , never just try again... 55555

Personally I always chuckle when I am there and see a faring driving a Benz or high dollar car around. But, what ever makes them happy I guess. A chick magnet I guess..

Personally I enjoyed Thailand, great exchange rate , tourists low. great time. Now, I am gone. Much better places. Unless all you want are temples , pussy , and a high Baht. Although the food is pretty good, but not worth the price of entrance. And if retired like me who wants to put up with the government dribble and retirement rules.. Be back next crash.. Try having a retirement visa there and traveling. Thailand strictly want the tourist dollar. To be avoided for expats and retiree's. It will eventually catch up to them.

But by all means let the Thai woman be your nominee for buying a home and land in Thailand. 555.

On planes leaving Asia ,and people coming from China now. The airline I was on required it. Once in the states haven't seen a mask since I got back. Not sure about other countries but here in the US looks like it is a thing of the past, I've been gone a while so at one time here in the US most were wearing a mask when I left.. In Asia where I was most all were wearing a mask. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Personally I will wait until the China Covid cases peak and go back down in China and Thailand. Then will plan my next hop.
