Pattaya Officials Remove Obstructive Billboards from Walking Street
TimeMachine replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Placement of new age fire extinguisher equipment too would be nice. -
Cool. I guess there are the laws and regulations tried to be set in place then everyone ignores them.. Are there electrical safety inspectors fining people? New building , sure. Easily done. What about for old buildings. They continue to be very dangerous. No earth makes it a certain big zap if short to chassis occurs. In Australia even with earthing the government has introduced the need for rcbo if you rent out your property. I guess their thought process is if you kill yourself ok but dont kill others. Which is odd because they dont allow euthenasia. Im ignoring that law. Haha. At 75 Im frying myself.

Im not aware of any electrician certification in Thailand. Are there any specefic colleges? Or is it literally relying on anyone to apply any guess work? It is a bit nuts in this era rcbo is not compulsory for a country that has a lot of older buildings without earthed chassis protection. Hats off to the chap organising the free rcbo. He is a life saver.

Best ways to pull yourself out of a slump?

Number 2 is an important one for me. Go down to the shop to buy some milk today. For someone who has not experienced mental changes may think what a lazy <deleted>. But I'll think whoever is trying to get past issues and does something like that, I say well done. Now tomorrow's plan? I remember back when I was young and healthy minded. I would not understand what depressed people go through. Now I know and don't criticize. Just joke sometimes. What did the dog say during the Great Depression? These are ruff times -
Pita complains of unfair treatment by the Election Commission

France and other countries, yes. Thai people are too peaceful. Kind of like the Jewish people were too peacefully minded to fight back against you know who. Peaceful protest does not work. Police and military will push back with easy violence and it won't escalate past a certain level. Good in one way. Less death. -

Such is life. I agree with you but I would say everyone, and not some, puts their rights above others at one stage or another. I am guilty of that. Don't be brought down by others is another bit of advice. Stay positive sufferers. -

installing an 8,000 watt water heater
TimeMachine replied to mahjongguy's topic in The Electrical Forum
Before wiring, i would run test. Hook up with the wire size you want to use just for an initial short test and check the startup current. Sometimes the units are over specked to look good. Ideal conditions and all that. Once you see the highest current, choose a cable size and match with breaker making sure breaker trip current is less than the cable can carry. With an instantaneuos water heater used for only short bursts like showering, i personally would be ok using a cable size down. Cable will heat up a bit but no harm done if you are aware of the dangers. -

Perhaps a too aggressive statement about the flag. Let me put it more gently. It is getting to the point where an idea is being pushed on people too much, much like when a religious or sales person comes knocking on your door. They should leave when told not interested in a polite manner. Sometimes that happens but sometimes the religious person wont leave until you agree with all they have to offer. Be gay or straight or whatever you like but part of gender such as sexuality is a private matter and should be dealt with sensitively and not paraded or used to influence. Of course there are those that have more evil reactions. Sorry for that. A part of humanity that is here to stay it seems. -
MR. DIY store has such a good range of useful stuff. Some flimsy, some look good. Was just there to buy a tyre repair kit and a pair of pliers. Best prices and they have. 7 day money back guarantee i think. So you can stress test each tool and if it snaps take it back.

Oh my god. You need battery power backup and turn off updates.

Tramdol works well. But after a while on it. Trying to come off and you will feel the wrath of hell. Last resort and make sure you can keep being prescribed it in your home country. Australia stopped pescribing tramadol in most cases. -

Its ok to be in a rut. You are aware of it and want to take positive steps. Thats great. Try social interctions in between your i cant be bothered to do anything stages. If that includes a romp session once a week so be it. Dont feel as though you have to force a relationship with any girl. One day you may match well with one. Light gym sessions twice a week wont harm. Always think a few days ahead for a planned day. Wether it be shopping, walking nowhere in particular, beach sunbathing. Whatever Good luck homie. -
Thai Police Prepare for PM Election Day Protests
TimeMachine replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Whats it called if police take over as compared to a military coup? Still a coup by police? The police will hopefully act in Thai people's best interest. -
But its not benefitting the country. Foreign workers and technology and know how would make society better off as whole. I guess I may be wrong if you value tradition over progression. So i do accept any counter argument as valid. But, One example is roads and road safety. Get the Norwegians and Germans in to fix that. Why would you not?

Debt collectors - any recomendations?
TimeMachine replied to Andyfez's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Forget it. Its gone. I only loan out what Im prepared to lose. The person may intend to pay but what if they pass away in the time. You lose your money anyway. Anybody who asks for a large sum that I want to help, I offer a smaller amount i dont expect back. And if its not for anything important I have to suggest they go to a bank or go without. Im done with emotions getting in the way with decision making. Saying No, not enough to share around atm is ok. -
