How dependent are you on alcohol?
save the frogs replied to Lacessit's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
If it was listed as a carcinogen since 1989, I don't think too many people knew about it. Maybe now that aspect is getting more attention. Another aspect I am interested in is what does it do to the gut microbiome? You know how when you have a wound, you pour rubbing alcohol on it? Alcohol kills everything, doesn't it? What is it doing inside the gut? -
I think I got scammed by a girl from a dating website!

although getting drunk in public is normal in society, what you are basically doing when you get drunk is making yourself vulnerable to abuse. women are making themselves vulnerable to rape in bars ... etc ... what planet do you live on where you think people will behave on the up and up when given an easy opportunity to take advantage of someone? all parties involved are to blame.

I think there's even a cooking school that offers an Education Visas ... but maybe in Bangkok, not Pattaya. Might actually be fun to learn to cook some Thai food? -

The "sugar" in fruit is tricky though. That's one issue in the diet world that there is a lot of debate about. How much fruit should we be eating? The carnivore and keto folks absolutely avoid all fruit because ... carbs. Some doctors think the sugar in fruit is so bad that all fruit should be avoided. Other doctors may tell you to stop eating fruit if you are pre-diabetic. Nobody seems to know for sure how much fruit we should be eating, in any at all. As far as I can tell, the scientific research hasn't been able to figure it out and doctors are just guessing. -

the link mentions that ashton kutcher was hospitalized after being on the fruitarian diet. it doesn't make claims about Jobs' health issues. but Jobs (-probably-) had a bunch of hippie friends out there in california giving him bad health advice. -

https://draxe.com/nutrition/fruitarian-diet/ Have you ever read about the Steve Jobs diet? Well, it sounds like it changed quite frequently, but for some time he was following a fruitarian diet. Preparing to play Mr. Jobs back in 2013, actor Ashton Kutcher got really into the movie role and even followed a fruitarian diet himself. How did that go? Not very well at all. Kutcher ended up in the hospital just two days before he was supposed to begin shooting the movie. Dangers of Fruitarian Diet - Lack of Protein - Lack of Healthy Fats - Nutrient Deficiencies - Problems with Insulin levels, pancreatic and kidney issues -

People are shoving all kinds of different foods into their bodies. And illnesses take decades to form. So maybe researchers have a hard time isolating the effects of specific foods. Peter Attia, a well-respected doctor, admitted that there are too many confounding variables which leave doctors perplexed on how to interpret the data. -

I decided to do a google search. This software overwrites the hard drive with junk data so it cannot be retrieved. https://www.pcworld.com/article/439273/how-to-guarantee-your-data-is-truly-deleted-before-recycling-old-pcs-and-drives.html To avoid this, you’ll want to use a disk-wiping tool like Darik’s Boot and Nuke (DBAN) before reinstalling Windows. This tool wipes your computer’s hard drive by overwriting it with junk data. If you’re disposing of the PC or internal drive, you’re done—you can leave the PC in this state.

You clearly read a lot of scientific studies. And that's highly commendable. But by debating with folks on here, you are diminishing your efforts. Most people on here will just plant seeds of doubt about what you've learned. And most people don't know what they're talking about. I suggest you continue reading the scientific articles and always bear in mind that there is a lot of conflicting information out there. And get off the internet. People will detract you more than anything else. -

I agree that you need to keep protein levels high, especially as you get older. I also agree that scubascuba's health advice is mostly misinformation. I would recommend to stop debating with this individual.
