  1. Might it have something to do with the El Nino/La Nina weather conditions?
  2. They would then be bleating about their 'human rights' and that it's beneath their dignity to do manual work, since the UK government restricted what hours and what type of jobs youngsters can do and schools don't encourage youngsters to even think of manual work - education, education, education - we now have generations of snowflakes who are no good for anything bar sitting on their lazy backsides looking at social media and getting upset when they don't get 'likes'.
  3. Have you got MUG tattooed on your forehead?
  4. If someone wants to squander their money on drugs and possibly damage their brains that's their affair BUT if their habit then causes harm to others yes we can condemn the use of it.
  5. Not a chance.Possibly by educating the young children there might be change, the biggest problem is that, good or bad, the way you're brought up by your parents is the way you carry on in later life unless there is a big incentive to change.
  6. If you want to act like a tom cat use a condom!
  7. The UK haven't got Brexit. Figures can be and are skewed to fit the agenda. The Guardian is a left wing pro EU newspaper. How questions are phrased will get different answers.
  8. I'd like to know who trousered all the money fraudulently taken off the postmaster/mistresses.Before any compensation is paid out to these unfortunate people the people at the top who were paid millions in bonuses should be in the dock and made to pay back everything they were paid then hand it over plus interest to the postmasters/mistresses,only then should compensation be worked out - but nothing will ever compensate them for up to 25years of the shame, disgrace and humiliation they have suffered. What isn't widely known is that Fujitsu had a back door into the computer system, they knew what was going on but chose not to do anything. A certain elevated sanctimonious hypocritical MP needs to search his conscience-IF he has one-and step down, never mind blaming others for telling him lies, his job as minister of postal policy should have been to investigate the many complaints,he chose to take the easy way out and believe what he was told. With the weak-kneed,spineless politicians of all colours in parliament today there will be a lot of wriggling and hand wringing and the poor tax payer will end up footing the bill-again.Welcome to gone to the dogs Britain-we've lost the Great.
  9. Do you believe all the hype you read,? Mark Twain popularised the saying,"There are 3 kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics".
  10. I had 2 jabs of AZ then 'something' told me not to have any more,a friend had 2 Pfizer ,I don't know what the 3rd one was but his health hasn't been good since, another friend has had to have a pace maker fitted and an acquaintance had a booster, felt ill after it,couldn't get an appointment with the Dr for 3 weeks, heart attack killed him-didn't have any health problems previously. Governments, scientists and big pharma have a lot to answer for.
  11. Naughty, not really appropriate in the circumstances,RIP to the young man.
  12. As your parents are still mobile why not invite them for a long holiday(2-3 months) to see how they manage. The problem with moving so far away from all they are familiar with would probably be boredom,I've seen this with elderly friends where their families move them into their homes,it's ideal for the family but the elderly are then away from all that is familiar to them which includes their friends.
  13. You may pontificate all you like but as long as people inhabit this earth and want the latest technology etc nothing will change. The sheer hypocrisy of doom and gloom merchants knows no bounds.
  14. Calling the aunt a bitch is an insult to a female dog.The aunt is definitely the lowest of the low,you can pick your friends, you can't pick your relatives, with a bit of luck karma will befall her
  15. Statistics can and often are manipulated to suit agendas. The IMF is about making money and there is a lot of money to be made both directly and indirectly pushing the green agenda,I bet they haven't done an unbiased comparison between the subsidies for fossil fuels and green energy. In the push for green energy acres of land are being covered in solar panels and wind turbines are mushrooming both on and off shore causing untold damage to nature and the environment. Then if we take into consideration the fact that cobalt, lithium and other rare earth minerals are needed in ever larger quantities and are being mined by children as young as 7yo and then there's the toxic lakes caused by the washing of these minerals...........
  16. Sticking my head above the parapet,The BiasedBroadcastCorporation, like The Guardian are very good at scaremongering, this article brings to mind the saying 'there are lies, damn lies and statistics' anything can be manipulated to suit an agenda and there is a lot of money being made by the people who are cultivating the agenda. Are you going to blame things like earthquakes and volcanic eruptions on climate change/global warming because they also cause a lot of pollution, pray tell, how will governments stop those happening and don't get me started on the amount of deliberate pollution that is happening in places like Ukraine,Syria and Gaza, again, there is a lot of money involved. Then there is the massive problem of over population the world over, more people = more 'raping' of the worlds resources We can all do our bit by not being so wasteful but we can't change the weather and the so called green movement is not green when everything is costed out. I will now put my head below the parapet again ready for the incoming!
  17. You are to be congratulated on bringing up 2 well balanced individuals who appreciate what you've done for them
  18. Is it possibly the mindset of people today the world over-not just in Thailand, there is the 'I'm all right Jack, stuff everybody else' attitude or the 'it'll never happen to me' attitude not helped by the drink and/or the drug culture. As Thailand has a large population how do the numbers relate to other countries per capita. All government departments the world over fiddle the figures to suit their agendas it's not limited to any one country.
  19. To stop people skimming your card details why not get a RFID wallet?
  20. Animals aren't terrorists nor are they religious fanatics R.I.P to the young men
  21. Depending on how often you intend doing the 6 months in Thailand and 6 months in your home country and presuming you don't have a partner, why not sell up then you don't have the worry of your house and contents deteriorating, when you want to go back to your home country either rent somewhere or go into a hotel/motel (negotiating a cheaper deal than weekly).
  22. I had a hip replacement about 4 years ago but haven't a clue what it's made of,I've flown from the Uk,Holland,Bkk,CNX,DMK and SYD with no problem, for some reason I often get picked for a wand and pat down but nobody has ever asked about my hip.
  23. My mother used the same remedy when she had gall stones,it worked for her hence why I tried it for my kidney stone(s)
  24. I haven't a clue what your weed is but it isn't clover,Is it possible to buy a selective weedkiller for grass in Thailand? If so I'd spray the weed and beyond the edges of the growth,if it doesn't all die off respray it and keep doing so until no more appear, the roots of your grass may eventually fill the gap or else put seed down.
  25. My mother developed jaundice with pain in her back,it was suggested she had gall stones,as she didn't fancy an operation she tried the olive oil and lemon juice remedy,it made her throw up and gave her diarrhoea for a couple of hours,in the morning the jaundice had gone but the pain was still there(she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer). I was diagnosed with a kidney stone at xmas about 20 years ago,my symptoms were an agonising pain at the left hand side of my lower back and bloody urine,my Dr prescribed Pethidine tablets with the instructions that I come back the following Tuesday if I hadn't passed it,as I couldn't stand the pain I decided to try the remedy,I used equal amounts of olive oil and orange juice and took a couple of hours to drink it a glass full at a time,I had sickness and diarrhoea for a couple of hours then went to bed, slept for the first time for 3 days, woke up in the morning with no pain and haven't had any problems since, the remedy may have no scientific basis but if I had problems again I'd try it first before resorting to surgery.
