  1. Do you disagree that increasing obesity has been a growing problem for many years?? Can you explain why major news outlets here in Thailand has similar articles? Remember that Bangkok Post and some others don't allow quotes or links here.
  2. Have to ask Bryan about that. The hot girls make lots of money on lady drinks, for themselves, and the bar. From customers view it's not good. Customers should ask first when enter a bar, how much is bar fee for LT? Ladies prefer ST anyway. 5+ ST a day + numerous ladydrink equals more income than a LT. From owners view who have to pay overhead, lease, 20-40 salaries, it also makes sense. Soi 6 is for ST.
  3. Money lenders at work again, or a ex-bf? two days prior to the incident, an individual had been enquiring about the bar worker at their workplace. However, she could not recall the specifics of that interaction. Worasuda suspects that the abductor could possibly be the bar worker’s ex-husband
  4. Ignore isn't good enough, unless one would never again see any of the blocked persons posts when the ignored poster has been Quoted and replied to by a third person. A total block, both ways, included quotes would be needed, Maybe impossible with todays forum software.
  5. For those who haven't "seen" obesity problem, here in Thailand. https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/40013006 Obesity in Thailand has been flagged as a major source of health concern,[1] with 32% of the population identifying as overweight and 9% obese https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obesity_in_Thailand Graphs https://data.worldobesity.org/country/thailand-214/#data_overview https://www.bangkokhospital.com/en/content/the-health-effects-of-overweight-and-obesity https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/health-blog/october-2019/child-obesity-becoming-a-growing-problem
  6. Take a look, open some of these videos. Some vdo's are so erotic that ones imagination kick into turbo mode. Enjoy. https://www.tiktok.com/tag/blackpink_lisa
  7. There was a news article not long ago, that Police had located overstayers by their mobile phone location.
  8. Brand recognition: THAIVISA.COM Will the old name come back? Rebranding as 'Asean now' was a big mistake, no one use that name in daily life among friends. I'm sure all Admins and mods know this.
  9. Suitcase and backpack: market on second road across View Talay 6 condo, before Central Pattaya Beach. Fabric suitcases for less than 1,000. They actually last (surprise surprise) although nead a good clean now and then. Backpack 200 (small) up. Just bargain or walk to next seller, then walk back (works for me) Mr DIY shop at Avenue Mall (McDonalds) between second road, and Buakhao 15 (Grand Avenue etc)
  10. Tested out a few countries in SEA, Thailand Won. Was cheap here in the 90s, low living cost, Traffic was moderate, immigration was ok, ladies was into relationship then, Sun and beaches, Western food available, Much fun to be had. Ooohhh the memories.
  11. Prelude to what to come from Dec 15, when opening time becomes 4 am, and high season will be here. Crime seems to slowly increase now.
  12. From what I recall from Op's earlier topics, he's native english speaker, and should comprehend requirements, what agents say, and advice given already. Sometime, looking for a straw doesn't help. OP has now started a new thread, about the same.
  13. I would happily oblige in whatever service she need. Haven't been with a white women since early 90's, and sometimes I miss it. I know. Madness. Or??
  14. 1) For that, try the Philippines. 2) Thais say "Fun dee" for good dreams, both in real life and to end a chat. 3) Not that I heard. 4) "Please" I neve heard, but Thai often say thank you, "khap khun kaaa" 5) Seldom. Love here can sometimes be more of a practical thing (I will get flamed for this) 6) "sabai dee mei kaa? Are you fine, are often used. Also "tam-a-rai U"? what are you doing? In general, my experience is that Thai women more talk about food, gossip, use time on their phones. Talk are overrated. Many Thai women want a man who not talk too much, but they want a man who can make them laugh. How often have we all heard "farang put mak" foreigner talk too much. Well, we are guilty on that, most of us. Look at the bright side, if she also not talk way too much, maybe less arguments, and silent treatment.
  15. Many Thai women have told me 'intimacy is a bodily need of the man'. Sniff kiss seems the norm, but not at home. A normal Thai women never involved in pay 4 play, are happy to learn how to properly kiss, tonque and all. They are not used to kiss with open mouth with a Thai man I've been told many times). For us western men, kissing is indeed a good foreplay, to build up what to come. Without passionate kissing first, I need a pill. 555. P4P have never turned me on, due to no proper kissing. No real passion. Only bang-bang, thank you Mam. In P4P we know there is zero affection love or care from the women. Only get done with it, and get Money.
  16. @BritTim OP, this seems related to your other thread You had many obstacles here in Thailand. You need to make friends with expats in Bangkok, who have years / decades of experience. Follow their advice. You often see expats in coffee shops everywhere. Usually a Agent can also help with most things, if one are unable to do it oneself. From your previous posts, you seem unhappy with agents service when you wrote "I wasn't told"... You must ask for the latest requirements. Immigration often has this on a photocopy for applicants. You must talk with expats in real life, and agents. You must adopt to the 'Thai way' of doing things, rather than always want things your way. That doesn't work here. I moved here in the 90's before internet and agents. I didn't have 10% of your problems living here. I am not attacking you in any way, but from your posting history last months, I can't stop thinking that: Thailand is not for you, unless you make a dramatic change to how you approach 'issues' of any kind. BritTim is new moderator and advisor, for visa related topics.
  17. Currently, a handful of members create new topics in the Pub that are constant drivel, all about nothing. Clearly took less than 30 seconds to write. Then follows hostile banter, personal attacks, page after page. This has been going on for some time already, and many members has commented on this. These handful members who do nothing else than post drivel, should be on Full Moderation (moderator approved, before thread / post become visible). Forums want traffic, preferable quality content that engage members and readers. Not nonsense drivel that mostly result in flaming trolling, multiple personal attacks. Plenty of this now, and increasing. Moderation is very complicated. Some other forum previously banned left and right for years, and lost many valuable quality members. Those forum become famous for banning. As a result, less new members, less traffic. I believe that moderators should use Personal Message more often to warn individual members. Then increasing posting holiday for members who already received and ignored formal warnings given in PM. Some moderators are too strict, they've been moderator for too long. Example, I wrote a post where I made a joke about myself with a image (old man with a walking cane) I am old and after surgery, I needed a walking cane. This was lost on moderator, and post removed by a certain mod that members consider 'extremely strict'. Moderators should have a lifespan, as they become judgmental and over time some act too strict. Other forums required a minimum of 2 mods to agree, before action was taken. Only Admins had the power to ban. Luckily, some mods are excellent, balanced moderation, have a good sense of humor and make jokes with the members. The Handbook is Excellent read, and toxicity is on a all time high, currently. Community Pub should be hidden from public view, and access only on request from members.
  18. Why would a foreigner intervene? Was he fooled to believe the transgender was a beautiful lady? Maybe chivalry isn't dead, after all. Cue more round-up on beach road, by BIB. This is just foreplay to Dec 15 4am closing time. Can confirm that many transgenders are back in Pattaya, and has become more aggressive in their hunt for customers. Soi Buakhao are no better after 10pm.
  19. +1. I said the same last week, only to get replies like one should not live near bar areas. The same replies ignored the fact that bars might have moved in later than residents. And with more bars moving in, more loud music are added. Some can't live without their fix of alcohol, and nightlife. Never mind that the majority want to sleep before midnight until dawn. No regard or respect for other people. Some of them will comment soon.
  20. For all us NON US citizens, it's all the same. Fussy pedantic fault-finding by you. 1) You write: "it is not just US military nor is it for retired miltary" 2) Then you write: "mean retired AND ex military" What's the problem? Nitpicking for nothing. I added links, specific requirements in the links.
  21. Should be restricted to pay down on their loans and credit cards only. Social media are full of thais who tell about their impossible burden to repay debt.
  22. Fiscal position to suffer due to government policies like digital wallet scheme PLUS the proposed Tax for foreign expats who stay in Thailand more than 180 days
  23. From my observations, users often don't carry any pills on their body, but rush to known dealers to buy another meth pill. Which makes any person carrying more than 1 meth pill on their body, in my opinion, a dealer. Some seems happy with 1 or 2 per day, while long time users seems to pop-up many times a day. I don't think the average tourist know how many ladies who take Meth almost on a daily basis. And then users start acting out, restless, hyper active, shouting, and can become very aggressive. A huge and growing problem in Pattaya.
