Meanwhile, a "concierge service" in Bangkok is posting scare messages about 200 thousand baht fines and jail time if you fail to file or get a tax identification number. I am very interested in staying out of jail and not incurring fines that I am unable to pay. Any advice??

My concern is limited to how much information I have at any given time. The revelation that my information might be compromised is a recent development. I rely on government services to be secure. Most of them go far overboard to protect information with features such as "two-factor" identification, This mostly makes things more difficult all around and does little to actually protect sensitive data. Trying to blame individuals like me, who never supported Trump, is disingenuous.

I've had to face the fact that I am too old to deal with Thai cannabis. If's far too potent. Three tokes will insure that I am unable to walk. Not interested in something that strong.

You cannot "over-protect" your children. If someone assaults your child, you are justified in using lethal force.
