Places to EAT around Chiang Mai - reviews and discussion
Cameroni replied to Trujillo's topic in Chiang Mai
Thank you, I was looking for good sourdough bread! Incidentally, I took a date to Hannah Hahn Cafe and Restaurant and it was a total triumph. The place has even a good breakfast selection, Pizza, Thai food and very nice surroundings. Prices a touch higher but not insane. I guess you pay for the premium ambience. Menu is here: https://hannah-hahn.com/en/menu/ -

My God I miss Paxman. Now that was a journalist. -
Yes, his support for Israel must have come as a real shock and was utterly unpredictable.

It wasn't about that though. NATO KNEW full well that Russia's stratgegic defence is hampered by the great European plain. As long as Russia controlled Ukraine it controlled virtually the whole entry point of the European plain. However, NATO encroaching ever more eastward actually meant Russia became impossible to defend due to its location on the European plain. So if a nation has to fear being invaded by Russia now, then because Russia is concerned about her own defense and security. -

Which is precisely of course why gangs are roaming Pattaya, people like you refusing to press charges when serious crimes were committed.- 93 replies

As always, every word you type is wrong, Patong, it would be better if you read the texts you give opinions on: "All well and good for the mice, but do these viruses benefit us too? Barton thinks so. In his study, two very different strains — murine gammaherpesvirus 68 (gHV68) and murine cytomegalovirus (MCMV) — had the same effect. He believes that providing bacterial resistance is a general property of all herpesviruses. There is certainly growing evidence to support his claims. If many people, the latent viruses reactivate regularly, but not strongly enough to cause major symptoms. In these cases, doctors have seen higher levels of cytokines and long-term activation of the immune system, just like Barton saw in his mice. Barton even suggests that herpesvirus infection may play a role in protecting against allergies. It isn’t clear what role herpesviruses play in priming the immune system. But at least one study found that people who are infected with the Epstein-Barr herpesvirus (EBV) are less likely to show sensitive antibody reactions to allergens in their environment. Clearly, the subject is a rich vein for further research. https://www.discovermagazine.com/health/the-upside-of-herpes-when-one-infection-protects-against-another "We're working on trying to develop new, gene therapy-based cures. Not just to treat these viruses but actually to cure them," said Dr. Keith Jerome, a professor in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at Fred Hutch and one of the researchers of the study. https://www.king5.com/article/news/health/seattle-virologists-promising-new-results-potential-herpes-cure-healthlink/281-9aaad3b3-0ac6-41bd-85d8-ca75fbd8931a

I did do that, I never backtrack, but sadly you did not understand what was said, because if you had you would have understood that Trump is precisely NOT doing what Hitler did. -

And a banana is not cigar, but that's hardly the point is it? Our learned friend Yagoda has rightly raised the issue of nationwide injuctions. The problem with same is conflicting law, not standing or jurisdiction: Take the mifepristone case. Though the Eastern District of Washington limited the scope of its ruling to the Democratic plaintiff states, the Northern District of Texas ruling applied nationwide, leaving the judges’ orders at war with one another in nearly half the states. So much for jurisdiction neatly working itself out. -

Doesn't change the fact that any person at any time can start a legal action, does it? -
It has nothing to do with that at all. I went on a vacation at near year that involved going to Bangkok and Pattaya. After I returned Wise had flagged a number of suspicious transactions which were indeed not mine. Good job Wise. Somehow my Visa card number did end up in the wrong hands. Quite annoying as apart from my card being blocked I had to get a new card sent. Of course Wise has the virtual card option, so that it was not a problem to continue use the Visa card. In fact to avoid problems you should choose the virtual Visa card to do online shopping, this avoids most problems. Of course it would still not protect you if use the actual card on a holiday.

It's not "foreigners", it's the Australians, Russians, Ukrainians, Spanish and British! This is the problem in Thailand, total lack of knowledge of who causes actual problems.
