Rejected at Nong Kai border for unknown reason
Pattaya57 replied to siwiek's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Catch up. You supported OP and called BS that people could make an appointment in less than 2 weeks in Vientiane and 3 of us made appointments for Thursday You're as big a troll as OP is -

Why even bother to leave it open when he's made it clear what he thinks of forum members and Thai immigration (could that be the missing link for his IO's rejecting him?) -

No, he's flying to Chang Mai because he couldn't get a visa appointment in Vientiane for 2 weeks 😉 -

How to cancel? We've now taken up 2 bookings on Thursday to prove OP wrong. I replied to my email and sent another to the link they state and both were rejected. Says we're banned from appointments for a month if we're a no show on Thursday 😀 -
How many millions of baht does one need to retire in Pattaya?
Pattaya57 replied to advancebooking's topic in Pattaya
I can, but don't need to. I like travelling and don't want to send 800k baht to Thai bank for crap interest (and don't want to waste 25k on agent funded visa) -

Worked well so far, 270 days in 2023 and 225 in 2024....would be cheaper to live in Patts all year round though if I got a visa -

Great, going through the process I accidently booked an appointment for Thursday at 0900 😀 (Must be privileged though since you said 2 weeks to do it) -

As @pomchop said, appointments are available in Vientiane every day starting from 0900 tomorrow. So what's OP's problem saying he checked appointments and has to wait 2 weeks? More likely OP read on here its a 2 week wait like you did so just added that to his "story" -
How many millions of baht does one need to retire in Pattaya?
Pattaya57 replied to advancebooking's topic in Pattaya
I've been retired almost 6 years now, live most of each year in Pattaya on visa exempts, holidaying the rest of the time Never had more than 250k baht in Thai bank so I guess that's all you need -
Almost denied entry Hat Yai airport
Pattaya57 replied to Bong317's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Seems like you are coming around to what we've all been saying. I even posted on his latest thread that he thinks anyone challenging him on this forum is a troll that works for Thai immigration and he just confirmed it again.... -

OP can easily prove his story is true by showing a pic of his non-identifying cancelled Thai entry stamp and cancelled Laos exit stamp but he refuses to do so. Just like his last denial thread, he refused to take any pic that would prove his story, but then started a thread in forum support asking for all people challenging his story to be immediately banned from Asean Now as they are Trolls with low IQ that are likely to be Thai immigration employees..... I'm thinking 40 year old living in his Mom's basement typing away -

Are you his lawyer, defend him no matter what making up a story that fits? He was asked many times on other thread what family in Thailand and he refused to answer so how come you know? -

OP said he he had no wife or child in Thailand. Doubt his parents are Thai or he'd be Thai so that leaves what? -

Showing entry/exit stamps doesn't expose your identity as long as you don't show the passport number listed on each passport page. Here is my last entry/exit, nothing showing my identity there -

Why would Laos cancel your exit stamp after you already exited Laos and were stamped entry into Thailand? Why wasn't Laos super concerned you just got refused entry to Thailand for what you say was an unknown reason? Why don't you just put all the speculation to bed by posting a pic of your cancelled Thai Entry stamp and subsequent cancelled Laos exit stamp? -

No-one knows what family OP has in Thailand. He keeps saying he does but when questioned in his last denial thread he posted this: "Some of us are not eligible for retirement visas and family can mean a lot more than a wife or child. I don't appreciate the insinuation I'm making selfish decisions for my family. Family is different things to different people." If he doesn't have a wife or child in Thailand then I don't see how he has family in Thailand that is relevent to an IO (he claimed IO declined him access to his family in last thread) -

That reminds me, last IO was gorgeous and she looked me right in the eyes and asked me for my phone number and if she could call me later... So glad that everything everyone posts must be true and if anyone dares to call BS on my post you'll be there to say: How do you know that ???... Answer is you don't... you have no idea and are projecting dumb assumptions. -

So you obviously know all that's required to retire in Thailand which you've apparently stated in the OP, so why are you asking for advice? -
How many millions of baht does one need to retire in Pattaya?
Pattaya57 replied to advancebooking's topic in Pattaya
Your calculations a bit off? 5% on 1 million gives 50k a year or 4167 a month, which is 146k baht per month. Still more than enough for most as you say -

You have to be kidding if you think that is a comprehensive spending guide. Doesn't even say if he drinks or if he visits gogo's, beer bars or beach road for his ladies (huge difference) How much does he spend on clothes, does he want to travel, does he want a flash car, does he eat lunch as that is missing from OP as well 😉 -
How many millions of baht does one need to retire in Pattaya?
Pattaya57 replied to advancebooking's topic in Pattaya
I always find it pretty silly when someone asks how much money they need to retire. How would strangers on a forum know what your spending habits are as everyone is different. Some are comfortable paying 1000 baht for a meal, others won't go near a place that has 250 baht meals. Some don't drink, others drink 15 beers every day, others only drink more expensive spirits, some like splashing cash on ladies, others don't etc, etc When I retired I owned my own condo and based on my holidays in Pattaya I budgeted 100k spending money per month. Fact is that living here life becomes 'routine' and I rarely spend more than 30k a month (I don't splash cash on ladies) Buying a condo was the best thing as I have no rent and it includes cable TV, wifi, Gym, Sauna and 3 swimming pools to relax without spending any baht (it would rent for 40k) -
How many millions of baht does one need to retire in Pattaya?
Pattaya57 replied to advancebooking's topic in Pattaya
He needs 800k baht to retire in Thailand, along with about A$700,000 (US$470,000) invested at 5% which will replenish his 800k baht every year If Aussie, he obviously needs far less $ invested when he turns 60 and can get his superannuation as tax free income -

I would give a serious answer except OP included how much he would need to pay his illegal prostitutes twice a week...thought there was no talk allowed about prostitution on this forum?
