  1. I thought the e-visa was one website application for all countries to use? If so shouldn't all applicants have the same requirements to upload (or not)
  2. Good they priced it at 3,999 baht, so much cheaper than 4,000 baht (unless ++ taxes still to be added)
  3. First border run is 30-March not 30 April so you would need to also extend your 2nd entry by 30 days to stay until end of June Enter 1-Jan, stamp to 29-Feb (60 days) + 30 day extension until 30-Mar However, one thing to be wary of is the METV is valid for 6 months from date of issue, not from date of first entry. So if METV issued 15-Dec with 1-Jan arrival you would need to do 2nd border run to return before 15-Jun
  4. Just wondering how OP would even arrange this? Go up to a young fit construction worker and ask if he'd like to come back to his room for 8 hours of "wrestling" for 500 baht. Response would be quite amusing 😀
  5. OP seems to think 500 baht each for 8 hours per day. So 1000 baht should cover it 😉
  6. So you're looking for a young construction labourer or fit younger guy to practice arm locks, choke holds and wresting for 8 hours a day, assume in your room since you don't want to use a gym And then pay him only 500 baht to be locked up in this room all day with your hands all over him...who would volunteer for that lol
  7. OP has started 3 threads now about this magical "15 month agent visa" and still no-one knows what he's going on about Note: he said it is not the 90 day non-imm O + 12 month extension package that Agents use to give 15 months total
  8. No, Bbi1 is talking about his 30 day extension from a tourist visa (he's made 3 threads about it). I understand retirement extensions are as per normal so not 1 day in advance like stated
  9. Here is the formal requirements for a non-imm O (item 9) https://www.immigration.go.th/en?page_id=2537 You can see how Savannakhet has butchered the income clause. It's like they took out the income part and left the rest 😀
  10. Below is the very latest from the Savannakhet Thai Consulate and it has the requirement for pension letter or proof of retirement as stated by OP However, I think this may just a translation issue and is only for proof of income method? If so, with 800k in bank it should not be needed as most embassies don't issue these letters anymore
  11. Youve said we should prove we're retired but have not said what you would use to prove it. What proof is there to show that someone is retired. I retired over 5 years ago at 52 but I have no clue what I would show immigration to prove that. The only proof I can think of is if someone was a Pensioner, but Australia pension age is now 67.
  12. That's because you are leaving and re-entering Thailand on a new visa every time (tourist visa or visa exempt entry). If you leave and return on same visa with a re-entry permit you don't need a new TM30
  13. When you complete a TM30 you have to enter an "Expiry date of stay" on 2nd page. If I have a 12 month extension I would state the date that my current permission of stay expires. This means I'm free to leave Thailand and return without a new TM30 as long it's the same visa and within same permission of stay period I wrote on my approved TM30. You are also supposed to freely travel within Thailand without re-doing TM30 but that seems to differ greatly between immigration offices.
  14. Lite Beer gave you the official link in the post just before yours (12 month retirement extension is item 22) In the same website you can find the official requirements for the initial non-immgration O visa, which I've linked for you (item 9) https://www.immigration.go.th/en?page_id=2537
  15. I've seen so many "stupid farangs" turn up at the desk with just their passport and ask for a 30 day extension. How hard is it to research something first before going to immigration to apply
  16. Yeah but how much does your agent charge for a 30 day extension? A 30 day extension is one of the easiest things to do with just a passport pic and copy of passport ID page, entry stamp and TM30 which you have to give agent anyway (and go to immigration for photo to prove you were there) I was quoted 4500 from agent, so ridiculous amount when only bb1 seems to keep having trouble (maybe he keeps going too early with first try 27 days before expiry and now 10 days before expiry in high season)
  17. Ha ha, I just realised your entry stamp expires only 7 days before mine (24 Dec). Here you've been to immigration twice and told to come back both times and I haven't even thought about going yet 😀 As for the new system, I don't like the only 1 business day before expiry but I'm sure this is only a temporary high season thing. I'm actually thinking the 2 step process is not too bad: Step 1: Do the long queue to have docs checked and get a confirmed future dated ticket. Step 2: On ticketed day, go straight to main building and wait your number with no queue required I use visiting immigration as an excuse to spend the day in Jomtien so I think I don't mind this (never go there otherwise). Would be much different if living a long way away though.
  18. I don't see how your hotel did a TM30 without asking to see your passport. Did you maybe provide copy to booking.com and they passed it on? If not, you definitely need hotel to confirm they did TM30 and give you some proof to print out. If not I'd find another hotel for a day before As for showing up to immigration with 1 day overstay I wouldn't do it, although I have read on here you'll be okay if your entry expires on a weekend/holiday and you go to immigration at the first opportunity after. Someone else to confirm
  19. I would say definitely yes as no point giving you the ticket for 15 December if you had to just line up again
  20. Yes, go to your local IO and submit the following: -TM30 application Form - copy of passport ID page - copy of current entry stamp - copy of your Condo Chanote On TM30 you fill out your details twice, once as the owner and then as the lodger.
  21. But you did, you posted another thread in March saying they rejected your application and to come back 7 days before
  22. Going in circles. You said you never need another TM30 if you don't break a rental lease. I gave an example of when you would need to do another TM30 and now you're telling me what I already told you lol
  23. In relation to your other thread, you've now shown that when you went on 21 November you still had 27 days left before your entry stamp expiry. No wonder they said come back and this info would have been usefuI in that thread. Even now you said they told you to come back 3-4 days before but you still have 10 days before expiry so not unusual when they are so busy I also wonder how you are able to keep getting to ask questions at desk 1 in the main building without a ticket. They heavily police the entrance to that building, no entry without a ticket and if you're not the next number called they tell you to wait your turn (and you don't have a number) I'd move, obviously Jomtien IO doesn't like you 😉
  24. You can get a 30 day extension for your visa exempt entry. The 7 day is not an extension, it is a 7 days to leave after a rejected stay request. 30 day extension requires: - TM7 application form - copy of passport ID page - copy of visa exempt entry stamp - passport size photo - 1900 baht Your hotel should have submitted a TM30 stating you are stayng at their hotel (shows on immigration computer). Suggest you ask hotel for some proof of TM30 submission to add to your TM7 application
