Pedestrian Crossings in Thailand Demand Enhanced Safety Measures
lordgrinz replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
The police aren't police in Thailand, they are foot soldiers for the RTP mafia. They have no interest in enforcing laws, unless it benefits their leaders (Mafia Don's), they could care less about the safety of civilians. -

More Thais Staying Single, Impact on Weddings and Florists
lordgrinz replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Just of curiosity, by overpopulating the World, when do all these countries feel they will have fulfilled saturation? I mean governments seem to be basing the future on constant expansion of the human population, more workers to supply their expansion plans, so are basically acting like a viruses. -
Student Hit by Car at School Crossing; Driver Faces Charges
lordgrinz replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
I wonder if they realize what will happen if they hit a Farang in a Zebra crossing, or God forbid the child of a Farang, especially one us very violent Farangs. I highly doubt an entire police station could keep me from beating the driver to death right there in the street. -

13-Year-Old Boy Dies in Motorbike Crash After Making Merit
lordgrinz replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
I'd say his lack of training, lack of testing, and a normal teenagers lack safety awareness. He was setup to fail by his parents, and a society that snubs it's noses at safety, this is the outcome. Basically, no surprise here. -

Pattaya's Pedestrian Perils: Crumbling Walkways and Traffic Chaos
lordgrinz replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Foreigners don't come because it's a "family friendly" place, they come to get stupid drunk, maybe get high, chase after younger women (or ladyboys), and indulge all kinds of perverted fantasies. These same people go home and brag about their stay and how it's a lawless society where anything goes, then the cycle repeats itself. I mean people aren't seriously deluded into believing that Pattaya is anything more than a World Class City of Sin, right?- 100 replies

Bars in Thailand Set to Close This Week for Buddhist Holiday
lordgrinz replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Since 99.9% of the people who "can't live without alcohol for one day" are Thai nationals, it would be hypocritical to expect others to follow the same law they ignore.- 144 replies
