  1. That would be great if Thai's only kept up on vehicle maintenance, especially outside of warranties. Most cars here over 4 years old seem to be poorly maintained, brake lights not working, blinkers not working, headlights out, dried/cracked/bald tires, etc.
  2. I never stated that, I said I drink my coffee within one minute of pouring it from boiling. Any cup of coffee will burn you if you pour it in your lap, its coffee, its a drink you BOIL to make. Do you even drink coffee? I do, every day of the week. The woman's complaint was idiotic, she should have been laughed out of court, along with the woman mentioned in this article.
  3. They poured it into a cup, not her lap.
  4. I don't serve coffee to anyone. Yes, I drink my coffee within a minute of pouring it. I wouldn't buy lukewarm coffee from anyone, I expect it to be steaming hot.
  5. I always boil my water before making my steaming hot cup of coffee, which is the way I demand it......why would I want lukewarm coffee?! Maybe it's just me, but maybe she shouldn't spill it on her genitals and legs.
  6. ...or people just go elsewhere.
  7. You do realize America is bigger than one candidate/party, or even two, though the left and right seem to think that is all there is.....both sides seem to believe "you're either with us, or against us". The US needs a reset, hopefully back to life before the internet took over commonsense.
  8. A 42% drop in Domestic vehicle production is HUGE! That can't be good for anyone involved in the vehicle production industry. There will be some pretty big consequences for that to be true, expect enormous layoffs, and/or manufacturing plant closures.
  9. This circus ends very soon, thank God!
  10. My wife and I ordered at a Thai restaurant in American, they asked us how hot 1-5, I ordered Pad KraPow Moo at level 3 and it was more like 4, my wife ordered a level 5 Papaya Salad (She figured this is USA not Thailand) and it was off the charts (She couldn't eat it). We later found out the cooks in the back were straight from Thailand, they took the numbers seriously....LOL
  11. I still drool over returning to Kauai, most beautiful and quiet place I ever been to, I pray to God daily to let me live there for the rest of my days.
  12. I think you're confusing Europe with the European Union, Ukraine is indeed part of Europe.
  13. Sticking to my original plan, spend as little here as possible, and own nothing here. I'll keep my money and assets in the US where they can grow without having to take huge chances on any investments here in Thailand. My wife likes buying condos, she is welcome to with her own money, not sending anymore of mine here for that purpose.
  14. Between their driving skills, drug use, anger issues, lack of impulse control, weapons, etc.....I do everything I can to avoid using a Taxi in Thailand, from my past experience, 9 out of 10 them shouldn't even be allowed on the road.
  15. I would have used "Infamous", but hey, let them have their fun believing in fairytales.
  16. So do all the participants now get a "Certificate of Innocence"?
  17. I like most dishes here to be about 2-3 on 1-5 scale, the spiciest dish I ever had was in Chomphon, local fresh seafood dish loaded with what appeared to be raw Birds Eye Peppers. I didn't look before taking a bite, then my whole mouth was on fire, I can stand the heat, but it ruined the seafood. Not sure why someone would want blazing heat on a fresh seafood dish, but to each their own I guess.
  18. Yup, suing them for serving hot coffee, is like suing them for serving cold ice cream.....Just ridiculous!
  19. You mean other than the posted "No Smoking" signs?
  20. Yup, and you pay for yearly extensions, re-entry permits, a 1000% increased fee to enter National Parks or other attractions, higher farang only medical costs, etc....etc....etc.
  21. I would guess most Thai's would laugh at the idea of filing a Tax return, no matter how much they made.
  22. I love seeing them laying down over the handlebars with their feet on the rear pegs and their head as far forward as they can get without a helmet, very aerodynamic, and much easier for a light pole to hit them where it counts.
  23. Will the money and sale of these luxury items go back to the victims, or will it end up in senior RTP officers accounts?
  24. I remember that, of all the insane ideas to come out of Thailand, that one takes the cake....LOL
