  1. You'd be better off playing the lottery.
  2. Does Pattaya have a working RTP? Because here in PakKret-Nonthaburi, nobody follows even the simplest traffic or parking rules.
  3. What driving test?! The "driving test" in the parking lot of the DLT is a joke.
  4. Brake failure, it's just a misunderstanding.
  5. I've made it a habit of kicking car doors when they try to drive through the Zebra crossing with me in it, that and smacking their mirrors seems to get their attention. So, I am doing my part, I pity the Thai who actually gathers the courage to exit his car and confront me, I call it self-defense.
  6. Silly boy, your name isn't Thamanat Prompow, The Teflon Don. Nice try though 🤪
  7. An act of lunacy.
  8. Yes, money is the root of all evil.
  9. All of these investors should be ashamed of themselves for supporting this corrupt government. I hope karma truly does come their way.
  10. Those were the only qualifications for the job, well that and sending a certain cut of the money up the chain of command.
  11. They should pay them based on their attendance, and have an attendance record showing hours of attendance, including any refusal to vote.......anything below a certain level of acceptance, they should then be removed from office, and a special election should be initiated to replace them.
  12. When I complained about an issue with seatbelts disabled on a school minibus at my daughters school, they didn't seem to have a safety officer, so I would say "no".
  13. Each time I brought dashcam footage, so they really couldn't say much, but they still had to understand the law to apply it correctly.
  14. I want to believe that, but after going to the RTP station for 3 different accidents in my car, and one in my wife's car. The RTP officer in charge sided with us on all four incidents, at least the traffic officer in charge definitely knows the laws and applied them correctly. So either they only have a few officers with enough knowledge of the Thai laws, or they are blatantly ignoring the lawbreaking, and refusing to do their jobs.
  15. The worst security maneuver you could make would be to download a Thai application, and then input personal information into it. I'll pass!
  16. Bigger reason than ever to make sure you have a dashcam that has front and back coverage.
  17. I'll clear this up, there are no building safety regulations being followed, no enforcement, and the work is substandard by any metric.
  18. I especially like the heavily modified pickup trucks that think they can drive at highspeed in the rain, forgetting that the backend is too light making them the last vehicles on the road that should be speeding in the rain.
  19. It's pretty sad when my daughter comes home from these trips and tells me she is the only one wearing her seatbelt, that tells me all I need to know about the teachers and the parents idea of safety. Two days ago they painted a new Zebra crossing in front of my daughters school, this morning there was a pickup truck completely blocking it. It's a lost cause, either they get the RTP out on the road enforcing safety every single day, or you can write-off Thailand as another 3rd World S**thole. You can't expect to get quality tourist to keep coming back to a country where safety is an afterthought, or just completely ignored.
  20. I don't think there is a Thai alive that "respects" or follows "Thai laws".
  21. I've noticed that most of the construction and electrical work done here leaves a lot to be desired.
  22. "Fat, Drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son"
  23. Dashcams keep them honest, make sure you have one, preferably front and back.
  24. To stop the massive headache when you don't listen to the craving (coffee) 😉
