  1. On ThePattayaNews, it says the CCTV shows the motorcycle crossing from the far left lane to the far right lane (to make a U-TURN) where it was hit by a truck that was travelling in the far right lane, so why the trucker ran is odd, as he was more than likely not at fault.
  2. Hey now, don't kill the golden goose, I am covered under my wife's health insurance....I like my freebees! 😉
  3. Well that's going to make for one helluva a story for his mates when he gets back home, I mean, wow! LOL
  4. Of course they do, means bigger paydays for themselves.
  5. Wouldn't matter if you legalized it, or not, you still wouldn't be able to fill your luggage on your international flight with 100kgs of it.
  6. Almost all of Thailand is corrupt, those who aren't collecting from it, wish they were. It's like a sickness here, it's embedded in their culture, good luck rooting it out, it will take a miracle.
  7. As usual, Thai's blame everything, and everyone else, don't expect them to take responsibility in an accident.....make sure you have front and rear facing dashcams, here in Thailand they are pretty much a must have.
  8. I mean they scan luggage for people smuggling more than 200 cigarettes, correct? Did they honestly believe luggage stuffed to the brim with marijuana would go unnoticed?
  9. I'm pretty sure they knew when the luggage was scanned inbound as well, I'm sure the guy stationed at the monitor was chuckling.
  10. Do the officers get the spoils of this, future Joe Ferrari apprentices?
  11. Incredible concealment skills.....LOL
  12. You can't defend in the indefensible.
  13. He looked to the left for oncoming traffic, he shouldn't have to worry about a motorcycle speeding down the wrong side of the road!!!
  14. 20 ft of red and white paint, and a blue triangular Zebra crossing sign, and lets not even mention the fact that the idiot on the motorcycle is speeding down the wrong side of the road. It's not even legal to make a pass over any Zebra crossing, let alone over a solid yellow line on the opposite side of the road against oncoming traffic.
  15. I am pretty sure I would have saw him coming, and I am pretty positive I would have kicked him off his bike if he came that close to me, self defense. I have kicked a few cars already for getting that close to hitting me in a Zebra crossing. One motorcycle came so close to my daughter and I that I only had time to push the women on the motorcycle using my daughters school bag and a body block.
  16. Quit while you're behind, or before you fall off you barstool. But for now, welcome to ignore 😉
  17. Your responses give me the impression you are a bit obtuse.
  18. Sent mine over last year, will send none this year, and maybe send none next year (it will be tight, but doable). That should allow some room to see what everyone else goes through first, or if WorldWide income becomes a reality, that could become a real game changer.
  19. I don't allow "emotions" to dictate my driving, if you do, so be it.
  20. I don't know, but I'm stocking up on popcorn 🍿 for the eventual posts here on AN.
  21. Stop pretending to know what I would do, or what I have done, or been through in the past. I'll say it again, I stick by my original post, and have done exactly as I stated in my original post in prior accidents. And just for your information, the dashcam did indeed prove me in the right, and the other drivers in the wrong (3 times now here in Thailand). Swerving to avoid an accident, without being sure of what will result from it, could open you up to whatever accident you cause by leaving your lane, thus making YOU at fault. It is not "dangerous driving" to drive in your lane while following the laws/rules, however, swerving and causing an accident in another lane could be "construed" as deliberate or dangerous driving. Best advice is to stay in your original lane, unless you are absolutely positive it is safe enough to swerve to avoid an accident.
  22. Yeah, but dude, do you have CRED?
