  1. How about kitten? Any young'uns that know how to take care of geezers?
  2. 70k for a family with 2 kids. Probably translate into 30k for a single guy in Pattaya. For and 80-100 sqm apartment, a decent car, western food, wine, 6 weeks holidays and good healthcare that's what you'll pay.
  3. \ There aren't two sides, only one: Israel was attacked and had to defend herself. Whenever there is another side it is only anti-semitic fiction.
  4. That's so deep.. Especially from someone who talks bravely from his anus.
  5. U got one of those "same day implants"?
  6. She didn't wear a miniskirt and no undies, did she?
  7. U got farts on your mind these days.. How is the sex?
  8. Definitely not.
  9. 2018. It was in a private hospital in Bangkok. I knew this wasn't right so I contacted Pr. Stricker at Sydney's St Vincent's who confirmed that AS was the only sensible way to go. Also PCa risk assessment remains based on Gleason and PSA at diagnostic, which is preposterous as baseline PSA will vary significantly from one man to the other, for instance I have BPH and chronic prostatitis, so it was 15 at diagnosis while it was 3.6 at my last visit, after a course of Levofloxacin. But they still consider me as "Intermediate risk"... Some doctors privilege PSA density in their assessment but it isn't widespread.
  10. Well, I was offered a choice of HDR brachytherapy or laparoscopic radical prostatectomy for a Gleason 3+3 of a size of 1% of my prostate.
  11. That was exactly my comment. But seeing the arrogance of some of your replies to other poster.. bye.
  12. Yes but this fact must be well published. Only one in five men diagnosed with prostate cancer will benefit from immediate radical treatment, the others can get on with their normal lives for 5 to 20 years. They will probably die with their prostate cancer, from some other ailment. And as this is now reluctantly accepted by the medical profession on may wonder about about the millions of men who have been unduly mutilated.
  13. Well, no I am not overthinking it, but it doesn't need it. Some Thai authority has determined that, to be worth the cost and risks for the country, a foreigner on a one year retirement visa should spend at least 65000 THB a month. And it seems that some can't fulfil this requirement and cheat the system. Zero thinking is needed here, is it? Now when it comes to tourists, 65k is what most of them spend in 3 days. "Think" about it..
  14. How could they support the local economy when they have to resort to "illegal" visas, because they don't meet the rockbottom requirements set by Thai Immigration to ensure that they do contribute.
  15. Which are the vast majority, especially with elderly patients.
  16. Trump is an idiot, and only opens his stupid loud mouth. He has nothing to say or to do apart from delivering the hardware Israel orders and pays for. Nothing else.
  17. Was the Bank of Thailand issuing visas. But it would be about time they stopped these illegal visas.
  18. Obviously your first year in Thailand. Within a week or two those rubber trees will be dressed in nice soft green.
  19. The thing is if that when caught, even a small amount of tax at 1.5% a month plus fines can become 7 figures when applied to 10 past years. I know of a lady with a successful on line business who got caught after many years, but they just charged and fined her for one year and got her into the system. So it is not always a total disaster, but it depends on who you are, who you deal with and who is representing you. Don't try to handle that without professional help.
  20. Dunno, I won't speculate on number, but those who haven't should be extremely cautious when dealing with TRD. They may owe some, possibly a lot of, money to TRD.
  21. You should ask the great Aussie teachers who run English classes for immigrants. Here one of those heroes. https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-larbalestier-48893430/
  22. My bad, it is true that I tend to amalgamate Fascist, Nazis, etc. They are "same same" AFAIAC. Just as our children will amalgamate Fascists, Nazis, MAGAs and Republicans. And I am sorry the [few] Republicans that are left. Ooh BTW have you heard of the Sudetes?
  23. That's misleading. Pre-2024 income has always been taxable if remitted during the year of earning. If you get audited you may get taxed and fined on undeclared untimely remittances made in the past 10 years. This is why those who diligently file returns might have a point.
