Obviously Thailand seems to understand that far less trouble with the Indians who do spend a good deal nevertheless. And perhaps less of the problems related to drugs and booze in comparison to other westerners. The problem is that most westerners who come here are those dragging various issues and problems. The indians or Asians come quite a bit with their families and thus are less an hassle. Of course like anything else, always exceptions to the rule. But in general, the indians and asians have far less that sense of superiority, then many of our fellow westerners tend to display in Thailand and when abroad.

Elite visa - useless. LTR visa , same. Thailand need to understand that one of the main spender here are the house owners retirees who come over just for 3 to 5 months in winter. Nothing has been done to make the O Non Imm visa more simple and friendly. For instance give at least 4 months of stay instead of the current 90 days. A 50 yr old home owner will always spend big bucks, regardless of the duration of stay.

Put a special chemical powder on the bell buton that leaves a big violet or blue mark when touched and thus easy to id...such powder or gel is also used when requited to trap thieves amongst work colleagues...
