I would never buy quality googles in Thailand. They would be far more expensive then in the west. Not to mention the chances of being cheated with fake goods. Best trick is to go and try the model you like back home in a reputable shop and then you purchase the same model and size from a reliable internet store in your home country. Prices will always be far better. And No, it's not being a Cheap Charles or whatever. It's plainly not being guilable and stupid.

Who will pocket all this new money racket against foreigners ? Ok put that tax but in exchange abolish the re-entry permit requirement. Any person with a non o visa, should be free to travel in and out and not have to run around to get a re-entry stamp. No wonder foreigners are not wanting to come to Thailand any more.

This kind of foreigners disturbing the peace need to be apprehended, deported and banned from entry. Today he was destroying a stall for some absurd ego issue. What will such a drunk or under drugs do tomorrow ? He could physically harm somebody due to his mental and ego issues. Is it again one more of those low lifes who are broke in their country and come to Thailand and think no end of themselves for a few weeks ? No wonder they don't like us falangs here. But also need to keep in mind that many Thai's are also racist and just do not like falangs. Any excuse is good to cheat or to be rude to a falang. So it works both ways of course. Except that this is their country so such a situation may ask just to walk away when one of the locals starts to get rude and give your money to another business where they will still cheat you of course...but with a smile 😁

You got a great service there. In Hua Hin housing developpments they charge around 3000 THB, rude local developpment staff and the work is badly done.

Excessive drinking-boozing, makes people grow more and more sour. aggressive and bitter with age. It's no rocket science. And in Thailand there are quite a few all over.

The rest of Europe must follow, if not it can end up in civil unrest on streets as people all over are fed up ...even the legally integrated foreigners in most countries are fed up of the other migrants forcing their way in and giving a bad image of all foreigners including those who are legal. Europe must find proper leaders to stop encouraging these poor people in being exploited by rogue agents who ask huge sums of money to cross them over. The mafia in Italy and France is known to be in league with intrests that facilitate the passage of migrants. As migrants mean cheap unaccounted labor for the tomato fields in italy, to selling drugs in Paris or Marseille. As for the humanitarian ships that rescue the migrant boats, by all means you must save anybody at sea. No arguing and no discriminating what so ever. You must rescue and give them all shelter and aid needed, as they are humain beings. But the illegals rescued on boats, must be taken back to their port of Origin and not bought into Schengen. If done so, the entire ship crew would need to be jailed as one is not sure which foreign interests are financing these huge organised modern humanitarian vessels that bring in the migrants to Europe. Time to open centers in Rwanda and other places in Africa who will be more then willing to "help", for a bunch of millions per year.

No only this is legal but it is widely what the Thais think of foreigners all over. They don't want us here...just our money.

Private car is the best and safest alternative as I would not trust my life to those reckless bus or van drivers, no matter how "VIP" they could be considered.

Drugs and junkies are destroying society and putting populations in serious danger all over Thailand and in the world.

Others would consider Vietnam or another Asian coutry on the next winter stay... better and less harassment from immigration.

People with the vaccine have died or have had other short or long term side effects. But people without the vaccine, have met similar fate. Nobody can really say what's the best choice for others. It's up to you but the best method would be to avoid overcrowded places and to wear a mask if in such places like airports etc. But again even people wearing masks have been known to get it so at the end of the day, it's a bit somewhat a matter of luck. p.s. I got me 2 shots in 2020 but never again but again what's my choice could be the wrong choice for another. As for the tests, I once came out positive and the next day I took another test as I needed the pass, it camed out negative in a different testing lab...

If there is not to much of an age gap like those 50 years olds sporting around their 25 year old rent-a weeks....if there is not to much of an age gap and you are around all day long to keep an eye on her, chances are good. If not, dont go any further and only rent by the hour, the week or by the month..as you like,

Sell it and fast...even if you case reaches court, the lawyers will swindle you out of all that's left. Sell. Even with new property, people have got cheated, despite the nice fancy looks of the pool villa around Hua Hin area for instance. Plumbing issues, wall cracks, faulty electrical wiring and the whole package sold in developpments run by farang developpers. As anyplace, all nice and friendly during the payment steps and once delivered, it's "go-to-hell".

At the end of the day, over consumption of Coke, Pepsi and similar could be causing more deaths and serious health issues then moderate consumption of booze... If I may say, anything is good in moderation and self discipline, and everything can get bad if one looses it. Thank you.

Once or twince a month...(1) or two (2) well filled glases of great red wine won't hurt. Very enjoying with a good meal. A few stronger drinks with mixers and ice, every few months when out in a club late...well, why not... ? But the main problem of drunks (those who need their drinks daily) is that they will never admit that they are drunkards and second it's a disease that often needs a properly qualified mental health professional to cure. And that can be a challenge to find in Thailand or in within many humble or poor communities in the west. Drink like drugs, alters the mind, alters common sense, can cause depression (that is errorneously relieved with more drink), causes agressive behavioural patterns and many other well known issues. As for drinking and driving, no comment. But with all the Police corruption in Thailand, it's a child's play for a drunk, caught behind the wheel, to pay his way out of the check-point.

The main rule of the thumb here is never "buy"...always "rent" !! Always be worth more alive, then dead. Putting anything in the woman's name is the last thing to do if you want to live long enough. It's same back in the West but here one can get bumped off just for a scooter.
