I have been on social media for a long time and the support for Trump this time around is way past what he got in 2016. It looks and feels to me that even more people support Trump now, after suffering for 4 years under Biden/Harris. This is just one example of the many differences between Trump and the Dems that the USA People are now seeing.

This is what the MSM think about Trump being shot at - they and their audience think it is humorous. Trump is going to tear them all down - they are morally disgusting and completely hypocritical. If Kamala had been shot at, this would not be how the media would behave. Gotta love Trump.

Donald Trump as POTUS will be working with JFK Jnr to solve the fast & processed food disaster that is greatly affecting the health of Americans for the corporate greed of Corporate organisations with links and donations to both Parties. Plus Donald Trump will be working with Elon Musk to reform and reduce the Bureaucracy. Just two of what will be a massive 'clean out'; of the American society and economy. I Love it !!

Why Men Are Rejecting Marriage
TroubleandGrumpy replied to save the frogs's topic in Political Soapbox
As most of us are a victim of the western marriage laws that are totally biased towards women in the west. Most of us have come here (and other SEAsian countries) because we can either remain single, and/or we can build a relationship with a women (or whatever) that has old school values. We currently live in a gated community in Isaan - the vast majority of the women living here stay home and look after the kids - the way it was when we were kids - and the way it is supposed to be IMO. Feminism has caused the problems the west for many reasons, one of them being because of their total and utter focus on getting things for the women - often at the expense of the men. The guy is the video has summarised the problem very well. If I was a young man in the west I would not get married either. I would work and save/invest, have fun and do things with my single mates, and then when wealthy enough - retire early and move overseas and find a partner that has the values I want to 'invest in'. Many will stay home country and do everything I said, except not go overseas. Nowadays they have seen what happens to so many men (thanks to social media) and they now ask themselves why buy and risk so much, when it is better/safer to rent. One poster has already stated what IMO will the Answer - if you can call it an answer - more a prediction. Robots will be developed that are more than willing to perform the roles that a man wants - there is already a huge demand for such a thing, and that will only increase over time. ASt that time in the future, IMO the choice for men in that future will be - Pick a partner and get married and have kid/s and see what happens (hope) - OR stay single and dont marry, with the plan to move with your money to a 'better' culture/society with marriage laws that are at least even - OR stay single and dont marry with the plan to get yourself a robot or prostitutes (or both). Women will be less needed in the future - only for those that want kids - they are sewing the seeds of their own destruction right now and they just cannot see it. -

You troll and post snarky comments everywhere dont you? -
I have an email confirming that - previously supplied on this thread (with person's personal name and my banks details removed). Obviously no one is going to read hundreds of pages. I dont have the file - and no time to edit it all again - but here are the words I got from a Thai based tax company. After consulting with our Thai tax division and analyzing your personal details, we have determined that you are not required to file a Thai tax return as no Thai taxes are owed. This is based on the filing rules as of today's date. The point being stressed is 'as of today's filing rules' (as told to them by TRD). It will not be until the end of this year that TRD advises all the Thai accredited tax professionals/organisations, how they want them to manage things with regards to tax returns, under the new rule. Until then no one knows whether the status quo will remain (they dont want 10s of millions of tax returns from people with no tax to pay). Only about 10 million Thais lodge a PIT - but we and TRD know there are upwards of 30-40 million Thais making money. However, the vast majority of them do not have to pay income taxes because their income is below combined Allowances and Exemptions.

The best solution right now is to get a VPN that has a server in Australia for one month - then cancel it. An IPTV service is the best solution going forward - one with sports, movies and TV series.

I dont love Trump because of the colour of his skin - unlike many woke liberals who love Harris because they think she is black. I too hope to see the USA People reject the politics of skin colour as used/abused by the Dem party since LBJ.

I also recall that many years ago we were on a holiday (in Thailand) and I tried to withdraw money from a 7/11 ATM on the island. It all went wrong and the next thing I knew, the account was blocked. I rang the bank and they said a security trigger had been activated, and I had to go into the branch where I opened the account to get it 'released'. Luckily I had taken the advice of another Expat and had 2 additional bank accounts to draw money from - never used a 7/11 ATM again (nor any ATM not in a Branch, or in a secure location like Makro). Like you, I have several bank accounts - very wise to do that in Thailand - and whichever one you use for Immigration - do not use it unless absolutely needed (say a sudden hospital visit).
-
Yes. Same thing that bank employees do - they dont do their jobs using a phone !! Come on man - you are wrong - you dont need to admit it, but just stop. PS - getting help on the phone is OK here, but cancelling/stopping an account needs to be at the branch office where you opened the account. EG. I have an old bank account in Chiang Mai where we used to live, but the local head office branch here cannot cancel it - I have to go there. Only Solution - withdraw all money (transfer to other bank account here) and dont use it for 12 months - it will then automatically be cancelled.
-
You are not in Thailand are you? Call the banks??? You will need to go into the bank where you opened the account (not any bank branch) and try to get them to stop/cancel your accounts - and good luck with that, even if you get there quickly. By the way, banking rules in Thailand are 99% in favour of the bank - you will not get any money back 99% of the time. If you are scammed because you clicked on a malicious QR code (or someone else did using your phone) or any other myriad of possible thefts that can be made with a phone that has banking enabled, it is not much use being notified that all/most of your funds have been withdrawn. Take it as given - they are insecure. The best solution in your situation, that I can think of, is to set up a separate bank account and impose a daily limit of 5000 baht withdrawals in a day, and using a computer transfer over to that account funds as and when needed (keeping below say 10K Baht). Then use that for account for payments with the phone. That limits the danger to a small amount in a secondary account. Especially important if you are using the same main account on your phone and you use that for immigration extensions/renewals.
