  1. More crap. I'm taking about staying legally. Much easier for westerners than Russians globally. So you're a maga not Russian, da?
  2. If true, that's very misleading. The vast majority of those would be s-hole countries nobody wants to travel to. The problem for Russians is that they arrive in countries like Thailand and it's very hard to stay long term, and they're very unwelcome in the west these days to even visit as a tourist. They could go to Georgia and stay a year on each entry but face a lot of hostility from locals and a government that is led by a pro Putin oligarch -- so that's not secure for them either. Personally, I think the west should actively recruit the more promising of the Russian draft dodgers. It's not their fault that Putin happened.
  3. Yes transparently pro Putin and very sickening that is.
  4. Putin Z fascists and Trump Maga fascists. Joined at the hip.
  5. Because he's failing but he hasn't given up. He needs to be made to give up. Like Hitler was.
  6. I don’t like mustaches either.
  7. I don't get the point of this topic but yeah that video and the people in it are truly nauseating.
  8. Fantasmas Well, also set in NYC, I just started this one and I'll continue with it but not ready to review it, so here you go. I love the part about getting a doctor's note excusing from gym class for life! TV Review: Fantasmas ★★★★ – The Queer Review In the delectably queer (in every sense of the word) new HBO comedy series Fantasmas, creator-writer-director-star Julio Torres (Los Espooskys, Problemista) plays a thirty-something creative named Julio Torres. He lives in a heightened, only-ever-so-slightly surreal version of New York City with his trusty robot assistant Bibo (voiced by Joe Rumrill), an aspiring actor eyeing human roles.
  9. I'm currently watching Eric tv series starring Benedict Cumberbatch, a British show set in NYC. It's not a gay tv series per se, but a main character is a closeted (black) police detective. I think it's one of the best portrayals of the emotional distress caused by being in the closet that I've seen in a very long time. The series overall (I'm half way through) is kind of depressing as it deals with dark themes but it's got a refreshing realism about New York City in the past. People looking for mindless light entertainment should skip it.
  10. So the idea here is to have a Gay Forum version of the more general topic on the forum. Why? There is so much LGBTQ content to choose from, new and old, that I think it justifies a dedicated topic. To whet the appetite, this (and other!) youtube channels always gives current updates of new and upcoming LGBTQ stuff. You may also wish to suggest youtube short films. Of course you are welcome to share your "reviews" of the content you are watching as well.
  11. You've got all the specious Kremlin talking points. It's weird how many westerners have positioned themselves as repeaters of such garbage.
  12. Danger Will Robinson! Project 25. Blueprint for oppression. Well I guess another reason for gay Americans to move to Thailand and other gay friendly destinations abroad. https://www.advocate.com/politics/project-2025-anti-lgbtq If you’re looking for yet another reason that Donald Trump shouldn’t be elected president again, we have two words for you: Project 2025. You’ve probably been hearing these words, but you may be sketchy on what they mean. We’re here to fill you in on the details thanks to a report by Accountable.US.
  13. Maybe Riviera. Not sure of dogs but I know of cats there.
  14. You're supporting Russia, a country that steals and brainwashes non orphaned Ukrainian children and is now beheading POWs. The Kirch bridge is a legitimate military target.
  15. Can't really predict. I think the momentum has shifted to Ukraine though. If the U.S. maga fascists win in November, that changes. Russia is gearing up for a war of many years. 35 percent military of their entire budget and brainwashing their children. Will the Russian people have the patience for long term suffering when the reasons for Putin's war are artificial? Will the west have the patience to wait for Russia to fall apart from within?
  16. China has become a big bully but their interests are different than Russia. China will possibly take back Manchuria from Russia if Russia continues to weaken. It's funny to watch how Putin is now Xi's rhymes with ditch.
  17. The state should be separate from religion. Period.
  18. What fear mongering? His advice was pretty much identical to mine.
  19. Hi Dr. He's in a small provincial office so I doubt he has access to an agent. It's my understanding that not ALL offices will do conversions to O visas within Thailand. The OP should determine if his office does or doesn't before proceeding. Thanks for your response to my question if he confessed early. I also assumed he would be made to leave but I wasn't sure. You sound sure. Definitely do not do that!
  20. One thing I'm wondering about is how many Russians have fled Putin's Russia. I've heard from credible sources from one million up to three million. Three million sounds crazy but at least a million makes sense to me. But imagine if it was easier for Russians to find more places that would accept them long term outside of Russia (and assuming Russia doesn't close its borders) how many more millions would flee? Maybe that's the reason it's been made so hard in most of the world.
  21. Exactly. And if Putin really cared that much about NATO he wouldn't now be keeping the border with Finland unprotected as he sent those soldiers to his genocidal war against Ukraine. Putin has a hard on for erasing Ukraine. He must be stopped.
  22. Sheryl nails it as usual. But I still have the question -- if someone was stupid enough to go in early and confess their violation, would they let the person stay the full year? I don't think so! But I could be wrong. But don't be that stupid.
