Not knocking western Chinese food which is experiencing a surge these days, but I usually prefer real regional Chinese. This place specializes in some Sichuan dishes, grilled in foil plates, and especially deliciously spicy grilled meats and vegetables. I've tried numerous times already on Grab orders and have loved most everything although I wasn't thrilled with the stir fried beef dish and the cabbage with meat dish. Not bad but just wouldn't order again. Tried grilled lamb and chicken wing skewers. Delicious. Choose your spice level but don't bother if you don't want spice. For the grilled in foil items, loved both the vermicelli and fish chunk in a red gingery sauce options. But the feature for me so far is the best ma po tofu that I'm aware of currently available in town. Only 200 baht. The boiled dumplings were quite excellent. You can get them fried as well. Which reflects the prices overall -- very reasonable as good Chinese Chinese food is often overpriced here.

I had a chance to try Buenos Mexican a few times on delivery orders. Had the carnitas burrito and then chile con carne. For the burrito I was pleased to be offered a choice of red or green sauce to make it a "wet" burrito for a small extra fee. Definitely rare in Thailand to be offered such a green chile sauce which I tried and did like. My burrito had black beans instead of the more common pintos which is rather a California style thing but unfortunately they were a bit hard. The chile con carne was American style with beans and ground beef rather than Mexican style which would have no beans and use beef chunks instead. Both were tasty, amply spiced, and distinctive from other Mexican places I've tried over the years in Pattaya. They advertise as "authentic" which admittedly is a very loaded word in the food world but it implies they are serving authentic Mexican style Mexican food. Looking forward to trying their enchiladas. I would recommend that local Mexican food lovers give them a try and judge for yourself. If you don't like to visit the gay nightlife district, use Grab. Again, a nighttime place, open rather late, not for lunch,

Funny, social security is right on the ball sending me a deceptive POLITICAL PROPAGANDA email today (and I assume everyone else) about the so called big beautiful bill but can't manage to send out these critical forms in a timely manner. Particularly excellent biryani which is hard to find and also offering some southern regional dishes of Goa and Tamil Nadu in addition to the expected standards. The holiday day is Thursday July 10 but I'm seeing a source saying the offices will be closed July 11 as well. That makes sense to create a long weekend. Bank holiday is the 10th. Again, not sure about the 11th. Can someone confirm details about this?
