  1. So much lying and fear mongering from the rabid transphobe community. In the US underage gender affirming SURGERY is extremely rare. Of course hormone therapy is done when appropriate after professional screening. The vast majority of people who have transitioned are happy with the decision and have no wish to reverse it. The small numbers of cases of regret are blown up by right wing zealots as proganda tools. While gender affirming care for underage is not to be taken lightly for those that do need it, it prevents depression and suicide
  2. The consensus seems to be it will be income based not remittance to Thailand based.
  3. You've been out of the loop. There is international sharing. If you don’t tell them they'll know you're lying. Brave new world.
  4. Yeah if we're taxed as residents we should at least be able to buy into the Thai health system.
  5. She will regardless of what rabid nasty spirited pro gun right wingers might wish. She led a long and purposeful life. A life that well deserves to be celebrated. Not saying she was perfect. But she wasn't evil like Trump and Putin.
  6. Trump has learned his supporters want a fascist dictator.
  7. It's probably good she's not alive to see this.
  8. It says something good about her that she gets attacked from the right and the left. Right wingers stereotype her as she's a democratic from San Francisco. They don't understand San Francisco history. Worth noting that Dianne Feinstein was chosen as queen of the Junior Grand National livestock competition at the San Francisco Cow Palace.
  9. That's irrational. She was already very rich. No need to continue to serve because of money.
  10. You don’t know how politics works, huh?
  11. She wasn't in charge of term limits. California kept sending her back is all.
  12. She was a centrist actually. I loved her and had the opportunity to vote for her multiple times while she was supervisor, mayor, and Senator. She was the rare kind of politician that had the potential to unite. She should have been a president. Super intelligent lady and she projected as a real leader. Don't judge her historically long career based on her sad decline in recent months. That's the human condition.
  13. San Francisco native, she was California's longest serving Senator. She was 90. Despite recent controversy that she should have resigned because of dramatically declining health her long career was notable. Although a democrat she was a political centrist. In previous decades her name often came up as potentially the first woman (and Jewish) president. Probably her most iconic moment as Mayor to be of San Francisco replacing the assassinated George Moscone.
  14. Excuse me, but speed talking plastic Vivek doesn't impress me as a caring human being, for children, or anyone else.
  15. Vivek is such a total sleazeball. But he has no chance to be nominated.
  16. I suppose recreational cannabis is competition to the liquor elite here. Can't be having competition, can we?
  17. An interesting premise (a love affair between the Latino-ish son of a U.S. woman president and a comely British prince) gets played as a light engaging family friendly soap opera. It's no must see but it's a fun see.
  18. Yes. The way he accelerated Covid vaccine production and rollout. His base hates that, but it was very good.
  19. Yeah. White people's problems. Looking for things to be offended about. They're not shooting us. That's a good day.
  20. Am I'm the Emperor of San Francisco.
  21. He made a hard decision about what is best for all the people. That's what good presidents do. It's impossible to please everyone on every issue and action.
