  1. I'm not suggesting that anyone should worry. It's obviously out of our control whether this happens or not unless we're certain officials in Russia and the west. Some people I don't think many in Thailand are peppers etc.
  2. As far as the net being down, Thailand wouldn't be able to switch to a Thailand only system? I'll ignore your comment about troll posts.
  3. Don't tell me what I think. But on that subject how soon would it take for the environmental stuff to be noticed in Thailand? Hours, days, weeks etc.? Would the banks close and how soon?
  4. How long would it take for Grab food delivery to go offline? What would happen to the baht?
  5. My assumption is that those living in Thailand would mostly eventually die from such an event but wondering about the details. Such as how quickly things would fall apart here. Like the same day or gradually.
  6. Well you went there. Yes the Russians if they do would start small. But the west would definitely respond strongly even without nukes. That would be the critical decision time for Putin that could start the end.
  7. I haven't heard this discussed before but I think the time has now come to face this. Putin is cornered and threatening to use nukes and the majority of pundits and world leaders think he might be serious. If that happens the west will retaliate and from there there is the real chance of full nuclear war destroying Russia, Europe, and North America. IF that happens, God forbid, but there really is a chance, what happens to the people in Thailand. Does that mean nuclear winter here? What exactly is that experience like for people? Would food immediately be in shortage or how long will that take? Would the thin veneer of civilization fall apart immediately here? What would daily life be like after such a catastrophe? Imagine the expats having no home to go back to even if they could. Obviously the global financial system would stop functioning.. Europeans and Americans would be better off here initially but for how long. Seeking responses from science types that actually have knowledge of these matters. It is not intended as gloom and doom porn. Discussions about the war and theoretical escalation scenarios not welcome here. The topic is only about f this worse case scenario occurs, what happens in Thailand.
  8. He updates constantly and openly admits when it turns out he was wrong. If he deleted his mistakes that would be a cover-up of his record. No I am not shilling for him except in the sense that I think he is sincere.
  9. He has a business. He's not always wrong or right especially when he makes predictions about the future. But who is. He covers many niche areas that are not commonly discussed so personally I think his channel has some value.
  10. For whatever it's worth the Integrity Legal American lawyer youtube guy has been saying for quite some time that retirement based conversions to O in Thailand are not something that can be counted on. More of an officer discretion thing and he has predicted a post Covid tightening. Not saying he's right or not. I couldn't know.
  11. If you had the 800K and it was seasoned properly, why would anyone even attempt a combo application? What's with the gay stuff above? How is that relevant?
  12. What people see in him to admire and be loyal to defies logic.
  13. Trump who is now a citizen holding NO OFFICE has as much legal right (NONE) to possess any of those documents as I do, classified or not. It's hilarious that the much more right wing party which has had a brand of law and order, tough on crime, supports the most extremely criminal president in American history,
  14. Not really but people I meet usually mention it and my high society head shrinker who I saw at age 15 did ask me if I thought I was Rasputin. I didn't even know who Rasputin was so how could I think I was him? He would light up a big illegal Cuban cigar at the beginning of the session and that's how he timed the hour. He had a very famous patient and he told me his name to show off. Ethical? Different times. Speaking of doctors I had a doctor a neurologist by the name of Dr. Pain. He wrote a report about me that angered my mother. But no mention of Rasputin. Later, he jumped out of his medical office window. It was on a high floor. Do you really think I'm making this stuff up? Anyway, nobody is normal.
  15. There are earthquakes every day in earthquake zones. That was a scare tactic item. The volcano IS a good reason to not move to Tagaytay. You do need to look carefully at localized natural disaster risks in many countries including Philippines, Mexico, USA, etc. Yeah I do feel Portugal's offers might be too good to be true to continue for much longer.
  16. Yeah, you have been saying that. I give you credit. There are still doors but the tightening and filtering trend cannot be ignored. Of course so much changed from Covid too.
  17. I know a lot of people will only watch highly rated movies. Well, I think that's rubbish. While I have found that movies rated very low on IMDB, Rotten, etc. almost always are time wasters, many of the mid level ones turn out to be charmning gems. Here's one rated 5.9 on IMDB. Starring Ethan Hawke and Asa Butterfield (who you might recognize from the Sex Education series).
