I feel much more sorry for the Ukrainians being slaughtered by Putin for nothing.

Medicare enrolment for Thai expats advice
Jingthing replied to sirineou's topic in US & Canada Topics and Events
No! If you've got a SS claim with a foreign address before age 65 you will be automatically enrolled in Part A only! If you want B you must take explicit action to request it via Manila FBU. If not, no automatic enrollment. Enrollment is through SS, not Medicare. -
Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital

Is he destined to be a martyr for Ukraine? In any event, used to be a comedian or not, he's a REAL great leader as opposed to the evil dictator in Moscow. -
Clearly not only Ukraine, and forget about "talks" and "negotiating" with him. May as well wake up and smell the coffee. Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine Toppled the Old World Order - The Atlantic

I reckon there are specific rules about continuous coverage for that government coverage exception. I would make a formal request to the enrollment authorities. It would be so easy to assume you're exempt when you're not. -
He does and he'll help his buddies too which is why sanctions won't be enough.

Considering this a bit, yes some that are obviously just parroting Kremlin propaganda without blaming the Russian invasion on Biden are probably not coming from maga. -

I think most are maga alt right Americans that identify with strong man dictators might is always right rather than liberal western democracies. There was the exact same movement before the US involvement in WW2, pro Hitler fascist isolationists like Lindbergh and Henry Ford. -

It was quite peaceful already BEFORE Putin invaded! -
I use them often but with cash. All orders came unless cancelled by restaurants. In the earlier months their software function especially around mapping location was very awful. But over time albeit very slowly their software got better and better. They clearly didn't have the IT level of Grab or Panda. But I will really miss them. Glitches and all their brand feels like it has more soul than the big boys.

The Trump types position is dangerously hypocritical. At the same time they assert this wouldn't have happened under Trump AND Putin's war crimes are brilliant and justified. You can't have it both ways They hate Biden and admire Putin. There is a word for that in times of war like now. Putin THE ENEMY loves this. -

Historical turning point. Yes we know Putin will win the initial battle and install his puppet. But we don't know how that is going to turn out over time. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/02/24/putin-invasion-ukraine-shape-new-world-order/ When Russian President Vladimir Putin launched his all-out invasion of Ukraine on Thursday, he effectively ended the post-Cold War era. A new architecture for global relations must be built, and its shape will depend on whether Putin’s brutal campaign succeeds or fails.
