Have some Jews sometimes weaponized accusations of antisemitism in unethical ways to deliberately try to suppress legitimate criticisms of Israeli government policies? Yes, absolutely, and that is very wrong. But that in no way follows that all accusations of antisemitism are about that. Also, we're hearing lately from Israel demonixers / Jew haters (often the same people) that because of the actions of the Israeli government in Gaza which have been very legitimately condemned, it is now open season on Jew hating in general, and because of that Jews are somehow no longer allowed to call out antisemitism when it occurs. And coincidentally or not, it's occurring a lot more than it has in recent years. Bottom line -- it's complicated.
