Blind partisan knee jerk reaction.

There is zero doubt that Trump and Musk are trying to install a dictatorship in every way they can get away with. They will push everything to their absolute limits. They won't even listen to supreme court rulings if they go against them. Voters were warned but they were just too stupid to heed to the warnings.

I find your argument totally specious. The environment has radically changed. Before now, pretty much nobody, certainly not retired expats, was filing or paying Thai tax based on remittances during the current year, regardless of the vehicle. And TRD wasn't interested either. Have you heard of something called POLITICS and changes of government? The priorities and targets changed and expats would need to be totally in denial not to see that.

The end result. Canadians will correctly maintain their hostility towards fascist dictator Putin-like Trump who continues to voice his intention to annex them. They will buy fewer American products even without tariffs and retaliation. Hopefully they will be smart enough to target the maga fascist red states. The world will see Trump and thus the USA is not a country to be taken seriously as they actually put this madman in power TWICE and the big winners will be CHINA and RUSSIA. Idiotic and insane. Epic own goal by Trump.

Xi and Putin are lovin' it. America first? America isolating itself to become America alone and giving global influence away voluntarily. So stupid!

Expat tax Thailand is very clear that Roth IRA remittances are taxable in Thailand. The firm you show did a much more recent expat club gig and no mention of Roths being exempt. -
I was talking about Trump's threats to annex Greenland and Canada.
