"Opportunities" for transsexual people are suggested because, in the past, they have been excluded from having any "opportunities." I don't know how increasing the "opportunities" for transsexual, non-White, female, etc., people enrich the "lefties." I would think doing that would enrich society, which, in turn, enriches everyone.

Neither AA nor DEI mandate nor suggest anyone hire UNQUALIFIED people. All people hired should meet the minimum requirements. What both AA and DEI do is try to change the practice of making race (White) or gender (male) a basic qualification for hiring to make race or gender just another consideration to take into account among QUALIFIED applicants. Lending money to UNQUALIFIED applicants is not a good idea. But classifying non-Whites and females as UNQUALIFIED because of their race or gender is racist or sexist. This practice must be eliminated. My eyes and brain are open to facts and are not mislead by KL.

DEO and AA were attempts to repair the damage that historical racist (White supremacists) and sexist (femmephobia) have done in regards to hiring. AA certainly did not fail. It resulted in a more "woke" attitude by employers and the hiring of more non-Whites and females. DEI has done the same thing but has not been as effective as AA because, unlike AA, DEI was not a law and was not accompanied by penalties. Neither DEI nor AA are/were racist or sexist. They both do/did not suggest that anyone was inferior or superior because of race or gender. They only ask (DEI) or mandated (AA) an employer to hire in a manner that would assure their workforce's race and gender ratios were similar to the population. Labels such as DEI and AA may not lead to complete equality, but racist or sexist labels certainly do lead to inequality.

DEI, like Affirmative Action before it, is NOT racist or sexist. Read the definitions of those terms below. DEI is an attempt to correct the wrongs perpetrated by the former and continuing racist and sexist hiring practices. A RACIST is "someone who believes that their race makes them better, more intelligent, more moral, etc., than people of other races and who does or says unfair or harmful things as a result." - Online Cambridge Dictionary A SEXIST is someone who suggests "...that the members of one sex are less able, intelligent, etc. than the members of the other sex, or referring to that sex's bodies, behaviour, or feelings in a negative way." - Online Cambridge Dictionary Neither DEI nor Affirmative Action was based on beliefs that anyone was INFERIOR because of their race or gender.

I propose a ceasefire in Ukraine if Russia agrees to withdraw all troops and claims on all land in Ukraine and return all of Crimea to Ukraine, and agrees to fund the rebuilding of all damaged property.

We are taught it as we grow up, and when we reach puberty, we start feeling our own sexual tendencies. I agree that "no child is born in the wrong body." We are all born in our own unique bodies, and as far as gender is concerned, that body could be male, female, or some mixture of those.

Humankind should either learn to live both socially environmentally compatible on this planet, or go extinct. As I've said earlier, we are "over the cliff" on this, so we (humans) will eventually go extinct - hopefully before we can begin polluting other planets. Fusion does create radioactive nuclear waste. Yes, it's not as bac as fission, but is still exists. Heat is the main pollutant. Helium may not be dangerous to the Earth's environment, but heat is.

My perception is narrowed because it is focused on the truth. Any perception that humans benefit this planet or the universe and should be sustained is just a delusion. We are like a cancer on this planet, and any attempts to spread humans to other planets until we learn to live both socially and environmentally compatible on this one should not be called "colonizing" but "metastasizing."

All the energy sources you list above are not "green" (not harmful to the environment). They all produce more pollution than usable energy. Fusion is less polluting than fission, but it still produces nuclear waste.

I don't know if this incident is a sure sign that global warming will end the world, but the continuing human destruction of the Earth's environment will eventually result in the extinction of humans and many other species. We are now "over the cliff" on that.
