There’s this woman who got cancer, and she researched the hell out of it and she concluded she wanted a certain non-conventional procedure from a top level doctor. She was insured up the yin Yang, the insurance company got back to her and said “we will cover this, if you do this more conventional procedure first”. She basically had no choice. She did the conventional procedure, and died. A big win for the insurance companies who now didn’t have to pay for the expensive procedure she actually decided she wanted. This is how insurance companies well everyone. They are quite literally merchants of death. You pay them to kill you.

Exactly, they are extortionists criminals. This is why the graph of usa healthcare vs outcomes is so bad in my opinion, because we have to pay these people who do nothing except make money off of sick dying people and get promotions for it.

I’m scared to go outside. Is it safe yet? I’m boosted and masked and still doing 6 feet (or is it 2 meters?) distancing and I’m wondering if it’s safe to go outside. It’s so hilarious. Really it is. We locked down so everyone went out shopping for food, came back and gave covid to their family members in their cooped up homes while not getting any sun or exercise. I’m being dead serious when I say I don’t think it should be legal to lock peoples cars and motorbikes by the association in condos. Yes if you didn’t know many condo associations do this; they lock your car for violating whatever. There could be an emergency or any number of reasons a person needs their car. Plus as we all know the condo association people are not there in the evening, so I guess that just turns into our problem when they lock the car for no reason. I don’t think anyone should be able to touch another persons car, legally speaking. Of course this is Thailand but whatever, I think those are fairly simple and objectively true statements

I’m actually surprised how pathetic some of these countries were. I do sympathize with their blight, don’t get me wrong, but 1) indemnity required 2) lack of safety data / history relative to other vaccines 3) obviously nobody laid their eyes on transmission efficacy results because even after the fact they’ve admitted “no, we didn’t test transmission, we were working at the speed of science”. I put much of the blame on countries for being so stupid

If a caveman could eat it, it’s ok. if not, forget it. Easiest way to explain. So eggs, meat, fruit, water, veggies all ok. not ok,list is huge, cheese, milk, coffee, burgers, pizza, yogurt, granola etc etc etc, you know, the stuff all you huge bellied people are eating! do that for a month with exercise everyday and I literally guruntee you’re better. Actually 60 days is nice. There’s this annoying thing with Airbnb to book 30 days, then u pay and you can’t even get all your days due to visa worries. I think the Airbnb rules are ridiculous personally. Leave it to govt to just make some <deleted> up when they are losing
