  1. This one on Lazada looks good too FOXSUR 12V 7A
  2. I've got 2 chargers back in NZ that I got from aliexpress. They appear very similar to the first two you mentioned. My first one is for a car battery and it worked really well. I since sold the car but kept the charger as it was a good bit of kit. The 2nd charger was bought to use on motorcycle lithium ion batteries. That too did a great job and is in storage with motorcycle in NZ. I made up a cable with waterproof connectors, which made it easier/quicker to connect for the motorbike. Simple enough to do for car as well (If wanted/needed). They are cheap enough.. Go for it.
  3. Likely find a bit of waste land and dig a big hole. Problem solved... until they realise the waste land was required for another project. Then start the cycle again...
  4. Do they still have the rule that 1st 24hrs of shore leave is in uniform? Used to see that in Singapore in the mid 80s. I was told the rule was to stop idiots getting into trouble. If you got arrested whilst in uniform then you were in big trouble. So the sailors limited the amount of grog drunk in their first 24hrs and hence less trouble. Seemed to work well.
  5. I bought some great looking Fox motorcycle boots. The fact the seller had zero reviews should have been the warning. What turned up? A pair of sands shoes that were odd sized and wouldn't fit me anyways. The account never changed from pending delivery so I couldn't receive and post a return/refund. A complete farce. It wasn't until I looked at 'customers questions' that I wasn't the only one caught out. I messaged Lazada with sellers name account and all the other facts pertaining to my scam. They inturn closed down the sellers account within a week. They would have made a small fortune. Never got a refund as I couldn't prove it was delivered via electronic receipt. Now I'm extra careful and only COD. Inspect before payment too. Been OK ever since.
  6. We're suppose to get some rain for a few days at the start of May. I'm looking forward to the drop in temp but I expect humidity will be thru the roof. Oh well just another excuse for an ice cold beer!
  7. Bloody power went out last night for about 45mins. So from about 2am it was sweatsville galore. Don't have an ac so the difference wasn't as bad as it could have been. Not nice lying on the bed, no fan and completely soaked in sweat. In fact bloody horrible. May have to fill up the bath tub type water container they have in one room.... Improvised plunge pool. No wonder some are dying in this heat.
  8. It doesn't matter to where I'm travelling. My luggage stays the same. No check in, 1 bag within dimensions and weight for overhead locker plus over shoulder bag with electronics in it. If I need more clothes, the I buy them in the new country. Travel light always. No waiting at baggage carousels for luggage that may turn up. K. I. S. S.
  9. Very well put together!
  10. Ammonia is nasty stuff. Last job I was at, cool storage of seafood we had regular training and trial evacuations for ammonia leaks. Doesn't take much to kill you and even less to fak you up for a long time. It forms a cloud when it leaks from refrigeration plant and sits near the ground... So it the opposite to a fire emergency. You don't drop to the ground. You get the hell out, raise alarm and get up wind (If there is any). It's amazing how much it expands on contact with air. Dangerous stuff.
  11. Must have been concussed/brain damaged not to remember getting beaten up with an iron bar! I would think the first strike would wake you up rather quickly unless it's like a king hit. Then you sleep for longer. Either way it's all a bloody nasty piece of work. I expect the homeless guy has just found a new longtime home.
  12. Oh the joys of flight. My number 1 observation once seated is to find where the kids are seated. I cannot stand spoilt brats making lots of noise. Babies crying comes a close second. Some time ago there was an idea to have a family/kids section on planes. Great idea. Make sure it's got a seperate sound proof wall too. I've been very lucky the last few years. Good quiet flights and courteous passengers. The way it should be.
